[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Industrial Application Field> The present invention provides a method for controlling a towing winch mounted on a tugboat, and more specifically, a method for controlling a towing winch mounted on a tugboat, and more specifically, a method for extending a towing line that is easy to operate and can be extended quickly. It is concerned with methods such as

<Prior art and its problems> Tugboats used to move large ships in narrow waters are used to push the large ship by using the tug itself against the large ship, and to pull the ship by using what is called a towing line. A large ship is pulled and moved to a desired location via a rope. When pulling a large ship during this operation, the tugboats must be pulled at a certain distance from each other due to the size of the ships, so before starting the pulling process, the towing line must be extended. The tug must be moved away from the large ship. There are the following two methods that have been conventionally used to extend this towing line. That is, the hydraulic motor driving the towing drum is rotated in the direction in which the towing line is paid out, thereby extending the towing line and moving the tugboat backward.

However, in the above method, the extension speed of the towing line is regulated by the rotational speed of the hydraulic motor, and that speed is significantly slower than the tugboat's possible reverse speed, making it difficult to perform tasks that require rapid extension. It is a big obstacle for. The extension speed of the line also changes depending on how the towing line is wrapped around the towing drum, and the tugboat must be moved astern at a speed that is exactly suited to these extension speeds, making maneuvering techniques extremely difficult.
If the tugboat were to move backwards faster than the line's extension speed, there is a risk that the hydraulic motor could be damaged.

Next, with the above method, there is no problem in terms of the extension speed of the towing line, but it takes time to engage and disengage the clutch of the towing drum, impairing the speed of the work, and the towing drum is free. Since the towing line rotates in this state, it gradually gains inertia and rotates faster, resulting in disadvantages such as the towing line being steered more than necessary, and it is difficult to adjust its extension speed. Furthermore, even if an attempt is made to control this using a mechanical brake, the impact is large and the brake system is subject to considerable wear and tear.

<Means for Solving the Problems> In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides at least one kind of back tension to the towing line, which is tensioned by the backward motion of the tugboat, while extending the towing line. The gist of this method is to use a hydraulic motor connected to the drum of a towing winch mounted on a tugboat.
A balanced piston type safety valve is installed between the and the marine switching valve, the operating pressure of the safety valve is set to two types, high pressure and low pressure, and an external safety valve is connected to the above safety valve so that it can be disconnected and connected via a stop valve. The operating pressure of the external safety valve is made to match the low pressure of the safety valve, and the safety valve operates at a low set pressure only when the external safety valve is activated, and at other times operates at a high set pressure. When extending the towing line from the tugboat, the drum clutch is engaged, the stop valve is connected, the safety valve and the external safety valve are connected, and the tugboat is moved in the direction in which the towing line extends. This is a method of controlling a towing winch, which is characterized by causing the towing winch to run.

The safety valve used in the present invention described above operates when the pressure exceeds a certain set pressure, and is also connected to another safety valve that operates at a pressure lower than the set pressure.
A balanced piston type device is used that also operates the safety valve when the other safety valve operates at a pressure equal to or higher than the low pressure. Furthermore, any type of external safety valve may be used as it only needs to operate at a certain set value.

The drawing shows a hydraulic circuit diagram used in the method of the invention,
1 in the figure is a hydraulic pump, and the oil pumped from the hydraulic pump 1 passes through a marine switching valve 2, and when the drum is rotated in the direction of delivering the towing line, it flows in the direction of arrow A in the figure, and the oil is transferred to the hydraulic motor. -3, and when winding up the towing line, it flows in the direction of arrow B in the figure. A safety valve 4 is provided in parallel between the hydraulic motor 3 and the marine switching valve 2, and the safety valve 4 has a stop valve 5.
An external safety valve 6 is connected in series through.
This stop valve 5 may be any type of valve that can be operated to turn on and off the connection between the safety valve 4 and the external safety valve 6, and usually a solenoid valve is used.
In the figure, 7 is a check valve for replenishing leaked oil in the hydraulic circuit, and 8 is a counterbalance valve for adjusting the oil pressure in the hydraulic motor.

In such a hydraulic circuit, for example, the high pressure side setting value of the safety valve 4 is 30 kg/cm 2 and the low pressure side setting value is 30 kg/cm 2 .
Kg/cm 2 , and set the external safety valve 6 to 30Kg/cm2.
cm 2 , and when hoisting the towing line, the stop valve 5 isolates the external safety valve 6 from the safety valve 4, drives the hydraulic pump 1, and flows the oil in the circuit in the direction of arrow B to perform the hoisting operation. During this hoisting operation, a force greater than the tension generated on the towing line due to the rotation of the drum is applied to the hydraulic motor.
3, so a safety valve in this direction is not required. Next, when extending the towing line, the stop valve 5 is operated to connect the safety valve 4 and the external safety valve 6, and the hydraulic motor 3 is
The hydraulic pump 1 is stopped with the clutch between the pump and the drum being engaged, and the tugboat is moved astern, that is, in the direction in which the tugboat and the large ship are separated. In this way, as the tugboat moves backwards, tension will be applied to the towing line, and the tension will be transmitted from the drum to the hydraulic motor 3, but if the hydraulic pressure applied to the hydraulic motor 3 is less than 30 kg/cm 2 Since there is no oil flow in the hydraulic circuit, the hydraulic motor 3 cannot operate, and the drum does not rotate, so the towing line is not steered. When the tug moves further astern and the tension on the towing line increases, and the tension reaches a pressure that exceeds the set value of the external safety valve 6, 30Kg/cm 2 , the external safety valve 6 operates, and the safety valve 4 also operates. Since it operates at the low pressure side set value of 30Kg/ cm2 , oil flows in the closed circuit connecting the hydraulic motor 3 and the safety valve 4, the hydraulic motor 3 operates, the drum rotates, and the towing line is extended. .

If you continue to move the tugboat astern in this way,
The towing line is extended by that amount, and if the tugboat is stopped or slowed down, the tension applied to the towing line becomes zero or becomes small, and the hydraulic motor 3 ceases to operate, so the towing line stops moving at that point. After extending the towing line to the required length in this way, the external safety valve 6 is disconnected again using the stop valve 5.
A tugboat is maneuvered to move a large ship to a designated location, but in this case, the tugboat may receive more pulling force than necessary from the large ship via the towing line.
In such a case, safety valve 4 is set on the high pressure side.
It operates at 200Kg/cm 2 and is designed to ensure the safety of the hydraulic system.

<Effects of the Invention> As described above, according to the method of the present invention, if the setting pressure of the external safety valve that can be remotely controlled is selectively set as appropriate, the stop valve can be operated when the towing line is extended. By simply doing this, the tug can be moved astern without complicated clutch switching, and the towing line can be extended at the same speed as the tug's astern speed, which is more than three times as fast as the method described above. efficiency. Furthermore, when the tugboat is stopped, the hydraulic motor acts as a resistance and the towing line is immediately stopped, so the line is not moved out more than necessary.

Therefore, there is no need to operate the clutch, and there is no restriction on the asterning speed of the tugboat, making it possible to quickly extend the line with an overall simple operation.
