Abstract

PURPOSE:To ameliorate contact of a material to be cleaned with a cleaning soln. and to improve cleaning efficiency by sucking the cleaning soln. in a cleaning tank, injecting the soln. against an impeller from a nozzle and rotating a cleaning basket fixed to the impeller. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning tank 1 is airtightly closed by a lid 2, and a feed pump 10 is operated to suck the cleaning soln. in the tank 1 into the pump 10 through a suction pipe 7. The sucked soln. is sent to the nozzle 12 in the tank 1 via a discharge pipe 11 and injected against the impeller 6. Consequently, the impeller 6 is rotated with the shaft 5 as the center by the kinetic energy of the soln., and the cleaning basket 4 fixed to the impeller 6 is also rotated with the shaft 5 as the center. A material to be cleaned in the cleaning basket 4 is rotated in the soln. The material such as a magnetic material is efficiently cleaned in the soln. in this way.

There are two methods for stirring the objects to be cleaned in a sealed cleaning tank: a method using a drive shaft that penetrates the wall of the cleaning tank, and a method using a magnetic coupling.
In the former case, it is difficult to maintain air-tightness and liquid-tightness in the portion through which the drive shaft penetrates, and in the latter case, there is a problem that it cannot be used when the object to be cleaned is made of a magnetic material.

For this reason, conventionally, the organic solvent sucked out from the bottom of the cleaning tank is jetted out from a nozzle installed at the top of the cleaning tank, thereby causing a flow in the organic solvent in the cleaning tank, which brings the object to be cleaned and the organic solvent into contact with each other. Efforts have been made to improve the situation, but it has not always been possible to obtain a sufficient cleaning effect.
