The present invention relates to a novel composite yarn that is soft to the touch and has a unique color effect, and a method for producing the same. Conventionally, various methods have been proposed for blending fibers with different fiber lengths. The first method is to prepare in advance a fiber bundle consisting of a blend of long staple fibers and short staple fibers, or to prepare these fiber bundles separately and pass them through a hollow roller using a spinning machine. One way is to use it to draft. However, in this method, if there is too much difference in fiber length, floating fibers cannot be sufficiently controlled, and the resulting yarn will be uneven and of poor quality. A second method is to cut staple fibers with a long fiber length to match staple fibers with a short fiber length, and use a normal spinning process to make yarn. This method has the disadvantage that it requires many steps to shorten long fibers. Furthermore, it goes without saying that a considerable amount of twisting is applied to make the thread, which inevitably results in a stiff texture. The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the drawbacks of such conventional methods, and to provide a new composite yarn that has less yarn unevenness even when spinning fibers with different fiber lengths, has a soft texture, and has a unique color effect, and a method for producing the same. do. To this end, the present invention has the following configuration. That is, the present invention is a composite yarn formed by twisting an untwisted spun yarn and a fiber bundle consisting of staple fibers with an average fiber length of 50 mm or more, and the spun yarn has a weight of at least 50 mm based on the entire composite yarn. %,
A composite yarn and an average fiber length of 50 mm or more, characterized in that the number of twists of the composite yarn does not exceed the number of twists of the spun yarn before untwisting, and the material of the fiber bundle is different from the material of the spun yarn. When drafting a fiber bundle consisting of staple fibers and spinning it into yarn from a front roller, a spun yarn of a material different from the material of the fiber bundle is supplied upstream and immediately before the front roller, and the spun yarn is This method of producing a composite yarn is characterized by twisting the yarn in a direction opposite to the twisting direction of the yarn with a number of twists not exceeding the number of twists of the spun yarn. The present invention will be explained in detail below. In the present invention, the average fiber length of the staple fibers constituting the spun yarn is preferably shorter than the average fiber length of the staple fibers constituting the fiber bundle, and the fineness is preferably finer.
This is to create a soft texture when twisted in a loose or untwisted state. The spun yarn is twisted with a fiber bundle made of staple fibers having an average fiber length of 50 mm or more in an untwisted state. This is to give the surface of the fiber bundle the texture of the staple fibers that make up the spun yarn, giving it a soft texture. Furthermore, when the average fiber length is less than 50 mm, the twist imparted to the fiber bundle becomes high, making it difficult to create a soft texture. Furthermore, the spun yarn also accounts for at least 50% by weight, preferably from 70 to 80% by weight, relative to the total composite yarn. This is to give the surface of the composite yarn the texture of the staple fibers constituting the spun yarn, and to give it bulkiness due to the untwisted staple fibers.
Next, the material of the spun yarn used here is preferably cotton fiber. Of course, other staple fibers, such as soft natural fibers such as cashmere, or synthetic fibers may also be used, but cotton fibers are preferred in order to provide a soft and pleasant texture. On the other hand, the staple fibers constituting the fiber bundle have an average fiber length of 50 m/m or more and are made of a material different from that of the spun yarn, such as wool fibers, acrylic staple fibers, polyester staple fibers, etc. Of course, blended staple fibers may be used in an appropriate combination. Further, the number of twists of the composite yarn does not exceed the number of twists of the spun yarn, and is preferably 50 to 80% of the number of twists of the spun yarn. This is to maintain the uniformity of the yarn and to prevent it from becoming wall-twisted. Of course, it is optional to dye the composite yarn in the same color or to use it by processing it with double yarn. In addition, when wool fibers are included in the fiber bundle, the fabric made of composite yarn exhibits an even softer feel when subjected to crimp processing. The composite yarn of the present invention has such a structure. Next, the manufacturing method of the present invention will be explained based on the drawings. The drawings are for illustrative purposes only, and changes may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. In the figure, a fiber bundle 1 consisting of staple fibers with an average fiber length of 50 mm or more is placed on a cross crawler 2.
are supplied to the bottom roller 2, middle roller 3,
It is drafted between the front rollers 4 and spun out from the front rollers 4. At this time, a spun yarn 5 made of a material different from that of the fiber bundle 1 is supplied to the location shown in the figure, and together with the drafted fiber bundle, the number of twists of the spun yarn 5 is twisted in the opposite direction to the twist direction of the spun yarn 5. The composite yarn 6 is twisted with a number of twists not exceeding , and is wound onto a bobbin 7. Since the twisting direction of the spun yarn 5 is different from the twisting direction of the composite yarn 6, the spun yarn 5 is in an untwisted state, elongated by the twisting shrinkage, and twisted together with the drafted fiber bundle. Therefore, since the material of the spun yarn 5 is twisted almost parallel to the yarn axis of the composite yarn 6, a soft texture is formed, and since the material of the spun yarn 5 and the material of the fiber bundle 1 are different, a unique effect is created. It is formed. Further, the number of twists of the composite yarn 6 does not exceed the number of twists of the spun yarn 5, and is preferably 50 to 80% thereof. The purpose of this is to maintain the uniformity of the yarn by not disrupting the arrangement of the fibers that make up the spun yarn. From this meaning, the twist coefficient (inch system) is also
It is preferable to set it to 3.0 or less. As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a uniform composite yarn that is soft to the touch, has a unique effect, has excellent resistance to straining, and can also be easily produced by combining materials with different fiber lengths. The produced knitted fabrics made of such composite yarns have a remarkable effect of having a softer texture and excellent unique color effect than those made of conventional blended yarns. Example 1 Various combed cotton yarns (Z twist) as spun yarns
A composite yarn (S twist) was produced using the apparatus shown in the figure using wool roving (0.2 g/m) made of wool fibers with an average fiber length of 75 mm as a fiber bundle.

[Table] The composite yarn of the present invention was excellent in its soft texture, texture unique to cotton, bulk, and unique effect, but the yarn with a spun yarn content of 45% of the total weight had a rough and hard feel. The overall evaluation was also not good. Example 2 Combed cotton yarn 20/1 's (Z twist) as spun yarn
A composite yarn (S twist, number of twists 12.5 T/in) was produced using the apparatus shown in the figure using roving (0.25 g/m) made of acrylic fibers with an average fiber length of 82 mm as a fiber bundle.
The count of the composite yarn is 16/1 ′s , the proportion of the spun yarn in the composite yarn is 80% by weight, and the number of twists is
16 T/in), which was 78% of the number of twists of the spun yarn. This composite yarn had the soft texture and bulk of cotton, and was a uniform yarn. When this composite yarn is woven in the form of a single yarn, the cotton fibers appear on the surface, while the acrylic fibers are hidden behind the yarn, giving it the same texture as one made only of cotton fibers, but with far superior bulk. It became.
