Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the formation of iron chloride, etc., on acid squeezing rolls and to prevent the formation of band-shaped rust on a steel sheet by cleaning the acid squeezing rolls for squeezing away the pickling soln. on the steel sheet picked by immersing the steel sheet in the pickling soln. by hydrochloric acid. CONSTITUTION:The traveling steel sheet 6 is introduced into the pickling tank 1 and is successively immersed and pickled in the pickling soln. in the tank 1. The steel sheet 6 is thereafter led out of the pickling tank 1 and is successively passed between the 1st and 2nd acid squeezing rolls 2 and 3 to squeeze away the pickling soln. thereon. The steel sheet is rinsed by a rinsing device 4 and is then dried. At least the 1st acid squeezing rolls 2 of the above mentioned acid squeezing rolls 2, 3 are cleaned by the hydrochloric acid in the above- mentioned method for the continuous pickling treatment of the steel sheet 6. The cleaning is preferably executed by blowing the hydrochloric acid from a slit of a nozzle 5 disposed on the acid squeezing rolls 2. The sticking and deposition of the crystals of the iron chloride and iron oxide on the rolls are suppressed in this way and the formation of the band-shaped rust on the steel sheet 6 by the transfer thereof onto the steel sheet is prevented.

In the continuous pickling treatment method described above, the pickling tank is often a double tank type. The pickling liquid in the pickling tank is kept at room temperature or higher, for example, 80°C. Washing with water after squeezing out the pickling liquid is performed using a rinsing device (4). The first acid squeezing roll (2) is placed immediately after the final pickling tank (1). In addition, in FIG. 3, (7) indicates a gutter.

The running speed of the steel plate (6) is usually 150 to 200 m/min, but the processing capacity of the inlet equipment placed before the first pickling tank or the outlet equipment placed after the drying equipment has decreased. In this case, the pickling treatment is performed by reducing the traveling speed of the steel plate (6) accordingly.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the conventional continuous pickling treatment method, when the traveling speed of the steel plate is reduced, the steel plate obtained by this treatment has a band-like crack formed at the edge between the surfaces. The band-shaped rust is more likely to form as the steel plate running speed is lower, and there is a problem that the occurrence rate of the band-shaped rust becomes extremely high when the steel plate running speed decreases to 70 min/min or less. . Steel plates with such band-like rust formed are defective products, so the above problem causes a decrease in the yield of pickled steel sheets. When we investigated the cause of the above-mentioned band-like rust, which is a serious problem, we found that the steel plate (6)
When the traveling speed of the steel plate decreases, crystalline iron chloride and iron oxide are generated at the ends of the first acid squeezing roll (2) and the second acid squeezing roll (3), and these are transferred to the running steel plate (6). It was confirmed that the purpose was to be

That is, when the running speed of the steel plate (6) is high, the steel plate introduced into the first acid squeezing roll (2) after being immersed in the pickling liquid is wetted with a relatively large amount of liquid, so the first acid squeezing roll (2) Roll (2)
During the passage, a large amount of liquid is transferred onto the roll (2), so that the entire surface of the roll (2) remains wet with liquid. On the other hand, when the running speed of the steel plate (6) is low, the amount of liquid on the steel plate introduced into the first acid squeezing roll (2) is small, so the amount of liquid transferred to the roll (2) is small, and the amount of liquid transferred to the first acid squeezing roll (2) is small. In (2), the degree of wetting decreases and becomes a semi-dry state, and a dry part appears at the end of the roll (2). At the end of the roll (2), iron chloride is concentrated and dried and deposited as crystals. The iron chloride in the crystalline state is oxidized by oxygen in the atmosphere, and a part of it changes into iron oxide. After that, due to the meandering of the steel plate (6), the steel plate (6) becomes like the above-mentioned Rono Q (2).
Upon contact with the edge, the iron chloride crystals and iron oxide are pressed onto the steel plate surface and transferred. After passing through the first acid squeezing roll (2), the transferred material is further oxidized and becomes strong, so that it remains as a band-shaped rust that can no longer be washed away by water washing in the subsequent step. In addition, the second acid squeezing roll (3
), the same phenomenon as in the first acid squeezing roll (2) occurs, and crystalline iron chloride and iron oxide are produced and transferred to the steel plate, but the degree of remaining as mackerel is small.

(Function) As explained above, the continuous pickling treatment method for a steel plate according to the present invention cleans at least the first acid squeezing roll of the acid squeezing rolls with hydrochloric acid when the steel plate running speed decreases. This makes it difficult for crystalline iron chloride and iron oxide to form at the end of the first acid squeezing roll, and even if they do form, they can be removed immediately. Therefore, band-like rust due to the transfer material on the first acid squeezing roll does not occur.

Furthermore, the hydrochloric acid for cleaning the first acid squeezing roll moves from the first acid squeezing roll onto the traveling steel plate, and can also move to the surface of the second acid squeezing roll. If a relatively large amount of cleaning hydrochloric acid is used at this time, the entire surface of the second acid squeezing roll can be cleaned with hydrochloric acid. Therefore, the formation of crystalline iron chloride and iron oxide at the end of the second acid squeezing roll is also less likely to occur or can be removed. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of band-shaped wrinkles at the second acid squeezing roll. Incidentally, it is desirable that the second acid squeezing roll is also washed with hydrochloric acid as in the case of the first acid squeezing roll. This is because by doing so, it becomes possible to more reliably prevent the occurrence of band-like curls.

The cleaning with hydrochloric acid is preferably carried out by spraying hydrochloric acid onto the acid squeezing roll. This is because even if crystalline iron chloride and iron oxide are formed at the end of the acid squeezing roll, they can be easily removed before they are deposited.

In addition, the steel plate running speed is 70 m/+win for the above-mentioned belt-shaped belt generation.
From an economic standpoint, it is desirable to perform cleaning with hydrochloric acid, especially when the running speed reaches such a speed.
