Abstract

1. An arrangement for rapid warm-up and thermal regulation of the lubricating oil (18) of an internal combustion engine of the type which is cooled by a cooling fluid (12) having a high specific heat and a low viscosity such as a mixture of water and additives, which circulates around the cylinders (6) or the liners (8) of said engine, characterised in that it comprises, around said cylinders (6) or liners (8), a first annular chamber (10) in which the cooling fluid (12) of the engine circulates and a second annular chamber (14) in which the lubrificating oil (18) of the engine circulates, said second chamber at least partially surrounding the first chamber so as to form therewith a heat exchanger.
