Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition containing a medium chain fatty acid (salt) and enhancing energy efficiency, capable of attaining nutrition improving effect, advancing the weaning date for young livestock and having the effect on improving the growing depression due to stress from said wearing. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating an artificial milk for young livestock with >=0.5wt.% (pref. 0.5-20wt.%) of a 6 to 10C medium chain fatty acid (salt). The salt is pref. a calcium salt or iron salt.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to an artificial milk composition for infants, and more particularly, the present invention relates to an artificial milk composition for infants, which has the effect of hastening the weaning period of consonants and improving poor growth due to the stress of weaning. The present invention relates to a synthetic milk composition for livestock.

However, for consonants, the problem is that changing from liquid feed, such as whole milk or milk substitute, to solid feed causes stress, which makes it difficult to eat the feed, leading to temporary stagnation of growth or death due to refusal of solid feed. There is.

In order to solve these problems, conventional methods have been used to gradually introduce formula milk during the breastfeeding period, but some babies may not get used to it due to individual differences in consonants, and there are cases where expensive formula milk is wasted. There are many. Therefore, it has been desired to improve artificial milk that has sufficient energy even when fed in small amounts and does not affect the growth of consonants.

Therefore, the present inventors conducted intensive research to obtain artificial milk with high nutritional value and improved feed efficiency, and found that medium-chain fatty acids with 6 to IO carbon atoms or their salts were added to artificial milk for infants. The present inventors have discovered that by incorporating the following, energy efficiency can be increased and nutritional improvement effects can be achieved, and the present invention has been completed.

In terms of energy supply, medium chain fatty acids are absorbed more quickly than long chain fatty acids and are consumed as energy.
Even if a small amount of artificial milk is ingested, it quickly acts as energy, so it has improved energy efficiency compared to long-chain fatty acids, and is thought to have a nutritional effect and have a remarkable effect on growth.

Example 1 Each formulation of the artificial milk preparation example shown in Table-1 was administered at 1 kg/day.
Rough feed (Italian ryegrass/alfalfa mixed wafer) was fed at approximately 10% by weight of each artificial milk to 14 male calves at one week of age, and the time when the amount of artificial milk consumed reached 1 kg was observed and the results were evaluated. It is shown in Table-2.
