Abstract

PURPOSE:To unnecessitate temporary handrails after block loading so as to improve working performance by fitting handrails on board at the upper board parts of upper decks in the stage prior to block assembling on board by each divided block before hull assembling. CONSTITUTION:By each divided block before hull assembling, handrails 4, 4' on board of divided structure per block unit are fixed, by ground work, at the upper board parts of upper decks 1, 1' in the stage prior to block assembling on board. Each block is then assembled on board so as to form a continuous handrail on board.

For this reason, the ground installation method of the ship's handrail of the present invention is to install the ship's handrail integrally on each upper deck upper rudder section by ground work in each divided block before the assembly of the ship's hull and at the stage before loading the flock. The ship's handrail is constructed in a continuous manner by fixing the blocks to each other and then mounting and assembling each of the divided blocks.

The above-mentioned above-mentioned method for installing a ship's handrail on the ground according to the present invention is such that the ship's handrail is divided into blocks, and each block is fixed to the upper rudder side of each upper deck by welding or other fixing means by ground work. By later assembling each block and constructing the ship's handrail continuously, it is possible to omit safety measures on the side of the upper deck after the blocks are installed, and the temporary handrail installation and removal work required by conventional construction methods is reduced to 7. This makes it possible to save on temporary handrail equipment and eliminates the need for indirect work such as.
