However, the transparent resin coating requires preparation before painting: sanding the decorative board to smooth it and remove dirt, and spraying polyester or urethane coloring paint to prevent discoloration and uniformity of appearance color. After multiple undercoating and re-sanding using Air Screw No. 7 and re-sanding, the finishing process is done with polyester or urethane-based paint to give a feeling of fleshiness, depth, and transparency and to prevent discoloration. Intermediate coating and top coating with transparent paint,
Finally, sanding and polishing with compound wax are required. In addition, these coatings are generally applied using air spray coating methods, but the coating efficiency of the coating is low, resulting in large losses, and it is difficult to finish a smooth and uniform coating film, causing boils, sagging, and sagging on the painted surface. Color unevenness,
It is prone to surface defects such as whitening and orange beers, so it was finished with careful consideration by skilled painting technicians and with sufficient time and strict work management.

Furthermore, decorative veneer plastic composite materials used as interior materials for automobiles are strongly exposed to external effects such as temperature, humidity, and sunlight, so base materials made from natural plywood are prone to expansion and contraction. Due to the effects of microbubbles and moisture contained in the decorative veneer that is glued on top, as well as differences in wood grain density, the transparent resin coating expands and contracts, creating minute irregularities on the painted surface and impairing its smoothness and gloss. However, in the long run, cracks, peeling,
This may cause warping or deformation.

Decorative veneers include teak, rosewood (board grain and straight grain),
Thin boards such as bird's eye maple (heated) and walnut (board grain, straight grain, and heather) are used by bonding to the base material of beech, sinew, and shade plywood, but they have low tensile strength and are difficult to elongate. It has the disadvantage that it can only be molded into flat or simple curved shapes even in general furniture because it is easy to break during molding.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors created a decorative composite by using a separately formed resin sheet and heat-press hardening it, instead of the conventional painting process. Various studies have been conducted with a focus on forming a transparent resin surface coating layer for materials, but the research has focused on forming a transparent resin surface coating layer on materials. A decorative veneer of natural wood impregnated with resin and a fiber sheet material impregnated with thermosetting resin are stacked one on top of the other, placed in a mold with a mirror-polished inner surface, and heat-pressed in one shot to harden them into one piece. A decorative veneer plastic composite material with a beautiful glossy surface and a high-strength, highly durable transparent resin surface coating layer is suitable for complex painting processes even for three-dimensionally curved surfaces. The present invention has been achieved based on the discovery that it can be manufactured economically with a small number of work steps and under favorable work conditions without the need for such a process.

As the thermosetting resin of the base material, 14 or more unsaturated polyester 2 diallyl phthalate resins or alkyd resins are used. In addition to these thermoset prepolymers, thermoplastic resins as low-shrinkage agents (polyethylene, polyester, styrene-butadiene copolymers, polymethyl methacrylate, etc.), as well as other customary materials, such as fillers, crosslinkers, etc. The above-mentioned reinforcing fiber material is impregnated with a mixture of additives, thickeners, mold release agents, catalyst 5 colorants, polymerization stabilizers, solvents, etc., and aged to a tag-free state over time. It is preferable to use a preform of a low-shrinkage sheet molding compound (hereinafter abbreviated as SMC) obtained by. As a result, the resulting decorative veneer plastic composite material has high rigidity, high strength, thin wall thickness, high heat resistance,
In addition to being highly water resistant, it also has moderate flexibility, and with high dimensional stability, it can be inserted into reinforcing ribs or bosses for screw fittings and retainer driving fittings for parts mounting. The thermosetting resin prepolymer impregnated into the decorative veneer causes a crosslinking reaction between the resin sheet material and the base material resin or prepolymer during heat pressing to increase the interlayer adhesion strength. At the initial stage of molding heating, that is, at the early stage of reaction, it shows softening and flexibility, so it is extremely effective in preventing cracking during molding. In addition, in this resin impregnation process, microbubbles and moisture adsorbed in the back cracks of decorative veneers and minute gaps such as essential fiber conduits are dried in advance and removed by filling with resin liquid, so the temperature Even in a usage environment where there are repeated changes in temperature and humidity, minute irregularities (eye discoloration), whitening, peeling, cracks, etc. may occur on the surface of the transparent resin surface coating layer due to the difference in expansion and contraction of the transparent resin layer and decorative veneer. Prevented.

In particular, even if no adhesive is applied between the resin sheet and the decorative veneer or base material layer, the resins impregnated in each layer will cause a crosslinking reaction with each other and thermoset, so the whole will be firmly bonded as a whole. This product greatly streamlines the adhesive and paint coating process, and achieves high functionality not found in conventional products, that is, a high-grade surface appearance and a significant increase in product strength and rigidity. Various molded products having dimensional curved surface shapes can also be produced in one shot.

Before hot-pressing the laminate in the mold, once the pressure inside the mold is reduced, the inside of the resin sheet material for the surface coating layer, the back reinforcement material of the decorative veneer, and the fibers used as reinforcement for the base material are removed. As the microbubbles (air) remaining in the voids of the resin sheet and the decorative veneer are degassed, the impregnation of the resin into the decorative veneer becomes more even, and defects such as cloudy spots and air bubbles that occur in the resin sheet and the decorative veneer are eliminated. The effect of prevention will be even greater.

The decorative veneer plastic composite material according to claim 1 of the present invention uses a base material, a decorative veneer, and a resin sheet material each impregnated with a resin that can be thermosetted by a crosslinking reaction, so that the whole is firmly bonded together. It has high strength and provides a highly durable and luxurious finish. In addition, in manufacturing the same, as the transparent resin surface coating layer, a resin sheet material obtained by impregnating a fiber sheet with a thermosetting resin is heat-pressed in a mold with a mirror-finished inner surface, and then hardened. Since a molded product is used, the numerous painting steps required in conventional manufacturing methods, as well as the equipment, work time, and skilled techniques involved, are greatly reduced, improving work efficiency.
Not only does it contribute to a significant reduction in manufacturing costs, but it also provides a finished surface with a more luxurious appearance. Furthermore, good formability, which could not be obtained with conventional manufacturing methods, makes it possible to form products with three-dimensional curved shapes, as well as ribs for reinforcing strength and rigidity, screw fittings for attaching parts, etc. Since the boss etc. for inserting the retainer driving fitting can be embedded in the base material, the degree of freedom in design is greatly improved, and the cost of installing parts can also be significantly reduced.
