Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber composition of excellent braking performance on ice by adding a leather material to a rubber component. CONSTITUTION:A rubber component (e.g. natural rubber/butadiene rubber blend) is mixed with a leather material desirably of a water content <25wt.% as measured by JIS K 6550 and a mean particle diameter <=300mum (e.g. a leather material obtained from cows, horses, pigs, goats, sheep or the like) preferably in a mixing ratio of about 5-50 pts.wt. leather material to 100 pts.wt. rubber component.

て一5℃と一15℃にて測定し、値を指数にてゴム配合

上制動性は良好である。使用したBRはハイシスBR,
SBRはスチレン含有率10%の溶液重合SBRである
。結果を第1表に示す、尚、配合N011〜11は実施
例であり、他は比較例である。
