Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an increase of the back tension of an ink ribbon by making static electricity easy to escape, reducing the adhesion of dust and suppressing a rise of a friction coefficient by providing slits parallel to the running direction of the ink ribbon to a contact friction member. CONSTITUTION:At a required position on this side of the printing head (a) on the running route of an ink ribbon 4, the contact friction member 10 made of felt bonded to the leading end of the leaf spring 9 whose base end hook part 7 is engaged with the boss part 8 provided to the bottom surface of a cassette case 1 in a protruding state is brought into contact with the ink ribbon 4 by the elastic force of the leaf spring to grasp the ink ribbon 4 along with a guide roller 5 to impart required back tension to the ink ribbon 4. Several slits 11 parallel to the running direction of the ink ribbon 4 are provided to the contact friction member 10. The static electricity generated between the ink ribbon and the contact friction member becomes easy to escape and the adhesion of dust is reduced and a rise of a friction coefficient is suppressed and increase of the back tension of the ink ribbon is prevented.

Detailed Description of the Invention (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention is used to stabilize the running performance of an ink ribbon that is mounted on a carriage that reciprocates in parallel with a platen in a printer and runs in accordance with printing. The present invention relates to an ink ribbon cassette in which a contact friction member for applying back tension to the ink ribbon is disposed on the travel path of the ink ribbon.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) By the way, when a contact friction member is brought into contact with an ink ribbon, static electricity is generated between the ink ribbon and the contact friction member as the ink ribbon runs, and the contact surface of the contact friction member with the ink ribbon is damaged. Ink scum and dust may adhere to the ink ribbon, and the printing surface of the ink ribbon may become dirty due to this dust.
Further, there was a problem in that the back tension of the ink ribbon increased. When the back tension of the ink ribbon increases, the feeding of the ink ribbon is impaired, and the ink ribbon and paper rub together with only a portion of the ink ribbon in contact with the paper, resulting in paper stains and decreased print density. This resulted in problems such as a so-called stick phenomenon or the ink ribbon breaking. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide an ink ribbon cassette that allows static electricity to escape easily, reduces adhesion of dust, etc., suppresses an increase in the coefficient of friction, and prevents an increase in back tension of the ink ribbon.

(Function) By providing the contact friction member with slits parallel to the running direction of the ink ribbon, static electricity generated between the ink ribbon and the contact friction member can easily escape, and the adhesion of dust etc. is reduced, reducing friction. An increase in the coefficient is suppressed, and an increase in back tension of the ink ribbon is prevented.

First, as shown in FIG. 1, a delivery spool (2) and a take-up spool (3) are juxtaposed in a cassette case (1). The ink ribbon (4) wound around the delivery spool (2)
) is guided by a guide roller (5) placed at a predetermined position, and reaches the take-up spool (3) while being exposed to a recess (6) on the outer surface of the side wall through which the thermal printing head (A) of the carriage is inserted. ing. At a predetermined position on the running path of the ink ribbon (4) before it comes into contact with the print head (a), the proximal end hook part (7) is connected to a boss part (8) protruding from the bottom of the cassette case (1). The felt contact friction member (1G) attached to the tip of the plate spring (9) that is engaged with the plate spring (9) contacts the ink ribbon (4) due to the elasticity of the plate spring (9), and the ink ribbon is removed together with the guide roller (5). (4) is pressed to give the ink ribbon (4) the required back tension. As shown in Several parallel slits αυ are provided.

(Effects of the Invention) In addition to the above-mentioned advantages, the present invention provides a slit in the contact friction member that is parallel to the running direction of the ink ribbon, so that static electricity generated by rubbing between the contact friction member and the ink ribbon can easily escape. , the adhesion of dust, etc. to the contact friction member is reduced, and the increase in the friction coefficient of the contact friction member is suppressed.
An increase in the back tension of the ink ribbon is avoided, which has the effect of eliminating problems such as staining of the printing surface of the ink ribbon, occurrence of stain phenomenon, and bending of the ink ribbon.
