Abstract

PURPOSE:To know an absentee's destination from a telephone number by displaying a telephone number of a transfer destination inputted from a telephone set at the time of setting an absence transfer, on a display device. CONSTITUTION:In the case of setting an absence transfer, in the case of inputting a telephone number of a transfer destination at the time of absence from an extension telephone set 1, a special number for setting the absence transfer is inputted prior to the telephone number of the transfer destination. By an input operation, a discriminating signal of an extension which has set an absence transfer and a signal for showing the telephone number of the transfer destination are sent to an exchange control part 4 from an extension input/output circuit 2. The exchange control part 4 stores these information in a control part storage device 7. Subsequently, the telephone number immediately after it has been stored is read out of the exchange control part storage device 7, and sent to a telephone number display device control part 5. When read-out information from the storage device 7 is received, the telephone number display device control part 5 executes a control of a transfer destination telephone number display, and displays the telephone number of the transfer destination on a telephone number display device 6. In such a way, the telephone number of an absentee's destination can be known.

Description

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to an automatic call forwarding telephone number display device in an electronic private branch exchange.

(Prior Art) An electronic private branch exchange has a call forwarding system in practical use as one of its service functions.

In this call forwarding method, the extension number of the call forwarding destination is input from the telephone of the extension for which call forwarding is to be set.

The input extension number of the friend transfer destination and the extension number of the input extension are stored in the storage device by the central control unit of the exchange.
