周方向に有するクランパーと、支持部の外側面に
当接しその当接面上に前記円筒部とのコーナー部
の突出部に対応する位置に環状の凹溝を形成した
クランパーとによりクランプした後、円筒部の外
周面にロールダイスを押し当てて回転させ、円筒
部及びコーナー部を圧潰し、円筒部外周面の円周
方向にベルト掛溝部を形成するとともにコーナー
部の突出部を前記クランパーの凹溝に圧入するこ
とによりコーナー部に肉厚の膨出部を形成するの
で、コーナー部が強化され、堅牢で耐久性があ
り、そして安全性の高いプーリーを得ることがで
き、更に、プーリー基材の形成の段階でコーナー

面の円周方向にベルト掛溝部を形成するとともに
コーナー部の突出部を前記クランパーの凹溝に圧
入することによりコーナー部に肉厚の膨出部を形
成することを特徴とするプーリーの製造方法。
