Abstract

PURPOSE:To adequately cook even the inside of food, shorten the cooking time period and provide ease of cleaning after cooking, by a method wherein a cooking utensil is composed of quartz glass or made of quartz glass, the quartz glass is heated by a heating media to have it emit heat rays which are given to the food to be cooked. CONSTITUTION:By a method wherein a heater heating sources 2 on which food to be cooked is placed are encased in quartz glass cylinders 1, the fire-end of a frying pan, etc., is made of quartz glass 1, or the internal surface of a cooking utensil is coated with quartz glass, the food to be cooked is uniformly, adequately heated from both inside and outside, cooking residue can be easily cleaned up and especially the cooking time period is shortened because the heat transfer and effective heat-ray radiation effect are improved. When the transparent quartz glass 1 is colored by mixing copper metal, vanadium oxides, etc., in it, the appearance is improved and the permeability of the high energy infrared rays through the quartz glass in the near infrared lay region becomes high, so that the heating effect is improved more advantageously.

That is, as shown in FIG. 4, a heater heating source (2) carrying the food to be cooked is housed in a quartz glass (1) cylinder and combined, and as shown in FIG. By making the cooking utensil made of quartz glass (1) or by coating the inner surface of the cooking utensil with quartz glass, the inside and outside of the food to be cooked are heated in harmony and moderately, and it is also easy to wipe off the leftovers after cooking. In particular, remarkable improvement effects were observed, such as shortening of cooking time due to enhanced heat conductivity and effective heat radiation effect.
