Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve appearance by placing a surface cover for covering a pad surface, securing the lower end of the surface cover, exposing the top adhesive surface of a double surface adhesive tape applied to the top surface of the pad, pressing the surface cover to cause it to be glued to the adhesive surface, and attaching it to the pad surface. CONSTITUTION:One surface of a double surface adhesive tape 11 with its adhesive surfaces covered with covers 13, 14 is glued to both side portions of the top surface of a pad 4. The end of a wire member 15 connected to one end of the cover is disposed outside via through holes 7, 8 of a seat frame 3 and the pad 4. Under this condition, a surface cover 5 for covering the pad 4 surface is placed over the pad surface, the lower end of the surface cover is caused to engage with the seat frame 3. End of the wire member 15 is pulled downward to separate the cover 13 from the adhesive surface of the double surface adhesive tape 11 and is taken out via the through holes 7, 8. The surface cover 5 is then pressed until it comes in close contact with the pad 4 surface, and caused to adhere to the adhesive surface of the double surface adhesive tape 11 so that it is attached to the pad 4 surface.

b. Prior Art In general, a vehicle seat includes a cushioning pad fixedly supported by a seat frame, and an outer skin covering the surface of the pad. In order to manufacture such inverse-shaped vehicle seats, which often have a so-called inverse shape in which a concave part is continuous from one part to the other, it is necessary to bond the pad and the skin to each other. For example, urethane adhesive is applied to the surface of the pad, and then a skin is placed on the pad to adhere it closely along the surface of the pad, or a hot-melt adhesive film is interposed between the pad and the skin, and the skin is bonded to the surface of the pad. A method has been adopted in which the skin is pressed onto the pad surface side using a press device and heated in this state, thereby fixing the epidermis to the pad surface.

C6 Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the conventional manufacturing method described above, the adhesive applied to the surface of the pad may scatter to other parts, so the manufactured vehicle seat may become dirty. , there was a risk that the covered epidermis would adhere to unrelated areas. However, the covering work for the skin needs to be done carefully, and the workability is extremely poor and the work takes a lot of time, making it difficult to mass-produce vehicle seats. Further, in such a manufacturing method, the bonded skin easily peels off, and even if wrinkles or misalignment occur in the skin, it cannot be corrected, making it difficult to obtain a vehicle seat with a good appearance. On the other hand, the manufacturing method using a hot-melt adhesive film has the disadvantage that special equipment and heating energy are required, resulting in increased processing costs and manufacturing costs.

d. Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the problems of the above-mentioned prior art, in the present invention, a through-hole is provided in each of the pad having a concave portion at approximately the center of the upper surface and the seat frame that holds the pad. At the same time, one side of a double-sided adhesive tape whose adhesive surface is covered with a covering is attached to both sides of the upper surface of the pad, and an end of a filament member connected to one end of the covering is attached to the pad and the seat frame. placed externally through a through hole,
In this state, a skin covering the surface of the pad is placed from above and the lower end is engaged with the seat frame to fix it, and the covering is bonded on both sides by pulling the end of the filament member downward. It is attached to the surface of the pad by peeling it from the adhesive surface of the tape and taking it out from the through hole, and then applying pressure until the skin adheres to the surface of the pad and adhering it to the exposed adhesive surface of the double-sided adhesive tape. ing.

The double-sided adhesive tape 11 has a three-layer structure including an adhesive paper 12 whose upper and lower surfaces serve as adhesive surfaces, and upper and lower covering papers 13 and 14 that cover the adhesive surfaces of the adhesive paper 12. A stripping string 15 is attached to one end of the paper 13.
One end of is connected. The double-sided adhesive tape 11 located on the connection side with the string 15 is formed in a triangular shape, so that the upper covering paper 13 can be easily peeled off from the adhesive paper 12. Furthermore, when the lower surface of the double-sided adhesive tape 11 is attached to the upper surface of the pad 4, the other end of the string 15 is attached to the through hole 7.
.. It is formed in such a length that it can be sent out and pulled from 8. In FIG. 5, reference numeral 16 is a pressure plate that presses the skin 5, and the pressing surface of this pressure plate 16 is formed in an inverse shape corresponding to the upper surface of the pad 4.

In this state, the skin 5 is fixed to the seat frame 3 by covering the skin 5 from above and engaging the hog rings 10 at the lower end with the corresponding retaining pieces 9 (see FIG. 2). If there are no defects such as wrinkles on the fixed epidermis 5 (if any, redo the covering),
Pull the other end of the string 15 downward. Then, string 15
The upper covering paper 13 of the double-sided adhesive tape 11 connected to the double-sided adhesive tape 11 is pulled in the same direction and peeled off from the adhesive paper 12 to expose the upper adhesive surface. In addition, the peeled upper covering paper 13 is taken out from the through hole 7.8 together with the string 15 (
(See Figure 5). Thereafter, the pressure plate 16 presses the skin 5 until it comes into close contact with the surface of the pad 4, and as a result, the skin 5 adheres to the exposed upper adhesive surface of the adhesive paper 12,
It is attached to the surface of the band 4 via the double-sided adhesive tape 11, thereby obtaining an inverse-shaped vehicle seat l (see FIG. 6). It becomes a hole for use.

In the manufacturing method of the above embodiment, the skin 5 is fixed to the seat frame 3 before being bonded to the surface of the pad 4, and then the upper covering paper 13 is peeled off to expose the upper adhesive surface of the adhesive paper 12. Since it is attached to the surface of the pad 4 by pressurizing the skin 5 with the pressure plate 16 and adhering it to the double-sided adhesive tape 11, it is fixed in the correct position and covered by the skin 5 without wrinkles or other defects. A vehicle seat l can be obtained simply and quickly.
