Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an excellent cosmetic compound containing a novel active component consisting of silkworm feces containing chlorophyll, minerals, vitamins, enzymes, growth hormones and various other active components of silkworm. CONSTITUTION:A detergent (e.g. soap), face lotion (e.g. milky lotion or lotion) or cosmetic (e.g. cream, foundation or powdery pack) containing silkworm feces as a component. Silkworm feces contains various active components of mulberry tree such as chlorophyll, minerals (e.g. natural calcium) vitamins (e.g. vitamin C), enzymes beneficial to the skin and growth hormones in addition to various active components of silkworm. Although the silkworm feces has alkaline nature, it is harmless to human body. The mildness and affinity of the feces to the skin can be improved by neutralizing or weakly acidifying the feces.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of Industrial Application This invention relates to cosmetic formulations containing silkworm dung as a novel active ingredient.

[Prior Art] Silkworm dung is the product of silkworms digesting mulberry leaves and excreting the digested residue and other substances, including concentrated chlorophyll, minerals such as natural calcium, and vitamin C. It combines a wide variety of active ingredients found in mulberries, such as vitamins, enzymes useful for the skin, and growth hormones, and a wide variety of active ingredients found in silkworms.

However, although silkworm feces contain a wide variety of components useful for human skin, no cosmetics containing silkworm feces have been known.

An object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic formulation containing silkworm feces in order to effectively utilize the various components described above contained in the feces of silkworms.

Silkworm dung itself is alkaline, but it is completely harmless to the human body.
