Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stamp of a sharp image in a simple manner by using a thermal transfer material, which has been already used for a printing on a transfer medium by a thermal transfer device. CONSTITUTION:A printing is applied to art paper through a thermal transfer material by a word processor having a thermal transfer device. This thermal transfer material which has been already subjected to printing is used as a negative. This negative is brought into close contact with a photosensitive resin and exposed to light by the irradiation of ultraviolet light, thereafter being developed with perchloroethylene to obtain a photosensitive resin stamp. This photosensitive resin stamp is fixed to a piece of wood serving as a support body with an adhesive double coated tape having an intermediate support layer of foam plastic. A mark stamped using the obtained stamp is almost unvariably sharp even if the stamp is used repeatedly for several tens of times.

A method using a photosensitive resin is known. This method using a photosensitive resin has the advantage that a stamp can be produced relatively easily. First, a negative is made from the positive original, and then the negative is usually shaped into a plate and brought into close contact with a photosensitive resin and exposed.

On the other hand, in addition to photosensitive resin, there is a known method for manufacturing stamps using traditional rubber. For example, a string of letters is made from printed letters that serve as a matrix, and a mold is made from plaster or the like using this string. There are known methods of manufacturing such as heating and pouring raw rubber into the mold and further heating and vulcanizing it, and engraving. Not only is the work process complicated and takes two hours, but it is difficult to say that anyone can easily create clear typeface.

Ink colored with dyes or pigments can be used using a heat-melting substance such as waxes such as wood wax and beeswax as a binder agent. This ink can be applied to a transparent film by a hot melt coating method or a solvent coating method using a coating liquid in which the above compound is dispersed in a solvent. In addition to the ink layer, a heat-resistant back coat layer, a release layer, etc. can also be provided.

The photosensitive resin becomes insolubilized by ultraviolet irradiation. It can be appropriately selected from known liquid or solid forms. As examples of such photosensitive resins, commercially available ones can be used, but solid ones are preferred because they are easy for anyone to handle, such as polyisoprene and NBR.

Preferably, by adhering to a relatively elastic sheet-like support, operability is increased and stamp printing becomes clear. Such supports include 3-foam plastics and the like. It is convenient to use double-sided adhesive tapes in which the intermediate layer is foamed plastic. The method of adhering to the support includes fixing with an adhesive, fixing with a double-sided adhesive tape, and the like. A simple method is to fix it to a photosensitive resin board using double-sided adhesive tape.
