[Detailed description of the invention] (Field of industrial application) The present invention is a gas burner cap used in kitchen appliances such as gas ranges and gas tables.
This invention relates to a molding die for press-molding a burner cap, which covers an opening formed on the upper surface of a burner body and forms a flame port between it and the burner body, from a ceramic material.

(Prior art) Conventionally, gas burners used in gas ranges, gas stoves, etc. are made of cast iron or other metals, but metal materials have limited heat resistance and are susceptible to corrosion due to adhesion of boiling liquid, etc. Since it is easy to use, its durability was low.

On the other hand, it is possible to use ceramic materials in the form of powder, granules, aggregates, and kneaded clay for press molding, but the former three do not have uniform density in the molded material when press molded, and some This is not preferable because it causes uneven density and causes distortion when fired.

That is, a molded base formed by press molding using a clay-like ceramic material is not only soft and easily deformed, but also easily adheres to the mold, so that distortion often occurs when the mold is released.

In addition, if the burner cap becomes distorted, it may become inconvenient to attach it to the burner body.
The size of the flame opening may become uneven, making it impossible to obtain a uniform flame, or there may be a gap in the fitting part with the burner body, from which gas may leak, causing flames to appear in areas other than the flame opening, resulting in poor performance. Moreover, there is a risk of serious safety defects.

(Function) According to the above technical means of the present invention, moisture evaporates from the surface of the substrate due to the heat of the molding surface, and the vapor pressure of this evaporation pushes the molding surface and the surface of the molding substrate apart. A directional pressure is applied, and the molded substrate is peeled off from the molded surface.

Thus, such a molding die A is made by placing the clay-like ceramic material A on the molding surface part 2 of the lower mold A2, lowering the upper mold A1 to clamp the mold, and pressurizing it with a press machine. In this way, a molded base for the burner cap C can be obtained.
2 is heated by the molding surfaces 1, 2 to evaporate moisture on the surface, and the vapor pressure of the evaporated vapor is trapped between the molding surfaces 1, 2 and the substrate, exerting pressure in the direction of separating them.

(Effects) As mentioned above, the present invention is equipped with a heater that heats the molding surface in each of the upper and lower molds.
During molding, the portion of the substrate that is in contact with the molding surface is heated by the molding surface, and moisture on the surface evaporates, and the vapor pressure of the evaporated steam is trapped between the molding surface and the substrate, exerting pressure in the direction of separating the two.

Therefore, the close contact between the molding base and the molding surfaces of the upper and lower molds becomes loose, and the surface of the molding base becomes easy to peel off from the molding surface, so that when the mold is opened or removed, it adheres to the mold and is subjected to excessive force. Not only does it not easily cause distortion, it also does not cause chips or cracks in complex-shaped parts such as tooth-like projections.
