Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently remove asbestos dust by isolating an asbestos-contg. material from the external air with a sheet, and filling the space with atomized water. CONSTITUTION:The sheet 12 is in the form of a bag having the volume identical to that of a room, and the edge of the bag as the opening is fixed to the upper edge of an upright wall 10 directly below the ceiling to which an asbestos-contg. material 1 is adhered. An operator enters the room through a sealed shutter 14, and roughly removes the material on the ceiling. Although asbestos dust is generated by the operator, fine water particles are blown up from an atomizer nozzle 2 to fill the room. As a result, all the dust suspending in the closed space is adsorbed on the fine water particles, and dropped to the bottom of the sheet 12 as rain drops. By this method, air pollution is efficiently prevented at a low cost.

Conventional technology Asbestos has excellent insulation and heat insulation properties,
Its uses are wide, such as building structures, electrical appliances, and automobile parts. For example, asbestos cement, which has a special heat-insulating effect, is used not only in chimneys, tiles, etc., but also in wall materials, 71! fi
It is even used for materials such as wood and heating piping. However, when handling these asbestos-containing materials, for example, especially when carrying out demolition, removal or waste disposal work on them, large amounts of fine asbestos dust are usually generated.
When it dissipates into the atmosphere, it causes asbestosis, a type of respiratory disorder, and lung cancer, which becomes a serious social problem.

Therefore, various measures have been taken to prevent the dissipation of this asbestos dust. As an example of the level of removal technology, a conventional work method for demolishing and removing walls made of asbestos-containing materials will be described next. first,
Protect the work site with vinyl sheets. (In addition,"
"Curing" means sealing the work site to prevent dust from escaping to the outside world. ) Next, use an airless gun to spray asbestos scattering prevention material onto the surface of the wall to be removed, allow the surface to solidify, and then use a keren stick (a tool with a spatula-shaped part attached to the tip of a long handle) to peel off the wall. In other words, in more than 9 work processes, rough removal work is carried out, and following the rough removal work, finishing work is performed to completely remove asbestos-containing materials that adhere to the underlying surface and remain with a wire brush, etc. During removal work, the above method can suppress the generation of dust to a considerable extent, but during finishing work, where the largest amount of dust is generated, it is hardly possible to prevent the generation of dust, and it becomes suspended in the air. Capturing the trapped dust and preventing it from escaping into the atmosphere has become an extremely difficult task. The reasons for this are thought to be mainly due to the following points. Asbestos scattering prevention materials only harden near the surface and do not penetrate into the underlying surface, so their effectiveness is hardly demonstrated during finishing work. If you try to suppress the generation of dust by spraying the asbestos scattering prevention material on the subsurface again, the prevention material will solidify the surface and you will not be able to finish it with a wire brush, etc. Residual asbestos that has gotten into and adhered to the dented area is actually becoming more difficult to remove. These findings suggest that the method using asbestos scattering prevention materials cannot sufficiently remove dust.

When the above work is carried out, a large amount of fine asbestos dust particles are naturally generated, but due to the presence of the sheet, they float in the space without dissipating into the atmosphere, and during the floating period, they are trapped inside the sheet. The effect is that the water droplets adhere to the filling mist-like water droplets, gradually become larger and heavier, become raindrops, fall downward, and finally all dust is removed from the space.

The example drawing is an example in which the inventions of claims (1) and (2) are applied, in which an ashest-containing material 1 attached to the ceiling of a room in a building and used as a wall material is removed. This shows an overview of the overall equipment in the case. As can be clearly seen in the plan view of the building in Figure 1, high-pressure water pipes 3 equipped with a large number of fog-generating nozzles 2 are distributed in the room so that the spray is spread over the entire surface of the room. will be established. This water pipe 3 is connected to a high-pressure pump 4 placed outdoors, and the entrance 6 to the room 0 that leads to high-pressure water made by boosting the water in the water tank 5 is successively a changing room 7, a shower room 8, a removal equipment storage area 9, etc. After finishing work, worker 0, who has access to the room where the work site will be, places removal tools such as a cleaning stick, wire brush, and dust-proof work clothes with protective equipment that does not inhale dust in the room 9, and takes a shower. After cleaning your body in room 8, you can change your clothes in changing room 7, and exit through entrance 6. A curing vinyl sheet 1 is integrated with four vertical wall surfaces 10 other than the asbestos-containing wall on the ceiling of the room and one floor surface 11.
A sealed space 13 formed by the inner surface of the sheet 12 and the adhering surface of the asbestos-containing material 1 on the ceiling is a sealed shank 14 that allows only the entry and exit of workers and is always closed when no one is in or out. cut off from the outside world.

First, an embodiment of the invention according to claim (2) in which the above equipment is used will be described. In the invention of claim (2), the sheet 12 is shaped like a large bag with approximately the same volume as the room, and the edge of the bag, which corresponds to the opening, is located on the vertical wall surface directly below the ceiling to which the asbestos-containing material 1 is attached. 10 is attached to the upper end. A worker wearing dust-proof work clothes and carrying a cleaning stick etc. enters the room through the sealed shank 14 and performs rough removal work on the ceiling wall with the cleaning stick etc. Asbestos dust is generated as a result of this work, but from the fog generation nozzle 2 installed in the room, the mist in the form of fine water particles is blown toward the ceiling as shown in Figure 2. The room is full of smoke. The time when the fog is generated is appropriately selected depending on the conditions of the rough removal work and the state of asbestos dust generation. It is desirable to generate the spray continuously from the time it starts until the end of the spraying operation. Of course, depending on the type and nature of the work, it may occur intermittently, or only at the beginning or in the latter half of the work.In short, the asbestos-containing material 1 on the ceiling and the sheet It is sufficient if all the dust floating in the closed space formed by the inner surface of +2 is adsorbed by fine water particles and allowed to fall as raindrops to the bottom of +2.

After all the dust has fallen as raindrops on the bottom of the sheet 12 and is no longer floating in the space, the sheet 12 is removed from the upper end of the vertical wall surface IO, and the pieces of asbestos-containing material that have accumulated on the bottom of the sheet 12 are removed. Dust, etc. that have fallen as raindrops are wrapped in the sheet 12 and carried outside.

As can be easily inferred from the above explanation, the invention of (2) is not limited to ceilings, standing walls, etc., but also relates to structures having surfaces large enough to perform work such as removal. (The work may be carried out by the worker entering the enclosed space, or by remote control from outside without entering the space.) An external shape that allows the surface and the inner surface of the seat to form an enclosed space. It can be used for various objects as long as it has the following properties.

In addition, in order to extract the fallen dust from the site to an external force, we not only wrap it in a sheet and carry it out, but we also inject water into the closed space and use a hole in the bottom of the sorter to collect the debris and remove it. #51 Most of the dust etc. is washed away as a mudflow,
Thereafter, it is also possible to remove the sheet from the periphery of the structure and take it out.

Next, an embodiment of the invention according to claim (1) will be described. In addition to the above-described embodiments, the invention (1) can also be implemented in the following embodiments a+i. In other words, asbestos-containing materials to which the present invention is applied are not only used in the above-mentioned structures that have a size that allows the sheet to be attached and work to generate dust inside the structure, but also in the structure where the sheet is directly attached. It can also be applied to objects that are difficult to attach, such as disposal of waste products such as electrical products and automobile parts. In that case, the entire object to be treated should be covered and wrapped in a vinyl sheet, etc., and the inside should be filled with mist before the processing work is carried out. Also, when the sheet is directly attached to a structure with a certain size, In the example shown, instead of covering the floor with an integrated sheet as described above, only the standing wall surface is covered with a sheet and the hem of the sheet is brought into close contact with the floor to isolate the work space from the outside. By doing so, floating dust can be completely prevented from escaping to the outside, and the invention (1) can be implemented. however,
In that case, the floor surface is unavoidable from being contaminated by fragments of asbestos-containing materials and raindrops of dust. However, in the invention (1), the floating dust is turned into raindrops and all fall and are dissipated into the atmosphere. It is enough if it can be prevented.

In the invention of claim (1) and the invention of claim (2), various implementation a.
I can think of many people. If the space is narrow, a high-pressure water pipe with a single rotating spray nozzle attached to its tip may be inserted through a hole provided in a portion of the curing sheet to generate mist inside. Additionally, it is generally effective to blow out the mist in a direction opposite to the direction of gravity. If the size of the water particles that form the fog is fine, for example 20 to 30 microns or less, and the space is densely filled with them, fine particles of asbestos dust can be more efficiently attached and removed as raindrops. It becomes possible.

Effects of the Invention The invention according to claim (1) isolates the source of dust from the outside atmosphere with a sheet, then performs the work of generating dust, and turns all the generated and floating dust into atomized water droplets. Since the asbestos dust is attached and dropped, it is possible to completely remove asbestos dust, which is harmful to the human body, at a very low cost without dissipating it into the atmosphere. That is, air pollution caused by dust can be efficiently prevented at low cost.

According to the invention of claim (2), although the dissipation of dust into the atmosphere is completely prevented, for example,
In the case of removing a ceiling wall, it cannot be expected to prevent water droplets containing asbestos-containing material fragments and dust from falling onto the floor and staining the floor. Once adhered, it requires even more effort and cost to completely remove it. According to the invention (2), the waste of asbestos-containing materials falling and adhering to the four sides of the work site, for example, standing walls, floors, etc., can be removed by using the sheet itself used to isolate it from the outside air. It can be immediately taken out, for example, out of the room, without any adhesion or residue. In addition, it becomes possible to easily complete the cleaning and cleaning of the site after the removal work, etc., in one fell swoop following the removal work.
