Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain high sterilization ability even when half dried cloth or the small quantity of cloth is dried by providing a cooling air route, water supply device to temporarily store water to be condensed in a heat exchanger and a humidifying device to vaporize the water of the water supply device and to send it to a drying air circulating route. CONSTITUTION:Dried air to be humidified by a humidifier 17 passes through an air blower 10 and a heater 11 and goes into a drum 9 and moisture is given to the half dried cloth or the small quantity of the cloth. Then, a wet and hot condition corresponding to constant rate drying in the case of normal drying is realized and sterilization can be executed. Further, the moisture passing through the drum 9 arrives at a heat exchanger 12 and is condensed. Then, the moisture is stored in a water supply device 16 and utilized again by the humidifier 17 and it is not necessary to supply the water. After that, when the humidifier 17 is stopped, the cloth is easily dried.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Bacteria are microscopic, inferior organisms that usually live in single cells and include a large number of species. Some of these bacteria include fermentation and
It includes species that are useful in industries such as brewing and sewage treatment, but on the other hand, they are harmful to human life through clothing and textile products as causative agents of diseases, food poisoning, food spoilage, odor, coloring, fiber deterioration, etc. There are also many things that have an effect.

On the other hand, the conventional clothes dryer had a structure as shown in FIG. In the figure, ■ is a drum that stores clothes and agitates the clothes when transferred, 2 is a blower, 3 is a heater that heats the air from the blower 2, and 4 is a heat exchanger that cools and dehumidifies dry air. This constitutes a dry air circulation path that returns to the blower 2 via the blower 2, heater 3, and heat exchanger 4. 5 is a cooling air path of the heat exchanger 4;
6 is a drain port for discharging water cooled and condensed in the heat exchanger 4. The air dehumidified by the heat exchanger 4 is heated by the heater 3 and reaches the drum 1, which gives latent heat of evaporation to the cloth housed inside the drum 1, vaporizes water, and carries the vaporized steam out of the drum. This dries the clothes.

Next, FIG. 3 shows the course of the temperature inside the drum when drying a cloth that has been subjected to normal dehydration. In the figure, the period 7 is a constant rate drying period, and shows the heating state 7LII (moist heat) in the presence of free water. 8 is the lapse rate drying period and heating without free water (
dry heat). It is also known that moist heat has a greater thermal sterilization effect on microorganisms than dry heat. Therefore, microorganisms are mainly killed during the careful drying period during the drying period. However, when drying half-dried cloth with a high degree of dehydration or drying a small amount of cloth, the temperature inside the drum changes as shown in Figure 4, and there is no careful drying period, and the sterilizing effect is low. Put it away.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In a dryer with a conventional structure, when drying partially dried cloth or a small amount of cloth with a high degree of dehydration as described above, the temperature inside the drum changes as shown in Figure 4. However, there was a problem that there was no careful drying period and the bactericidal effect was low. An object of the present invention is to provide a clothes dryer that has high sterilizing ability even when drying half-dried cloth or a small amount of cloth.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a dry air circulation path which passes through one path of the heat exchanger and reaches into the drum and has a heater along the way, and another path of the heat exchanger. A dehumidifying clothes dryer having a cooling air path communicating with the passage is provided with a water replenisher that stores a portion of the water that condenses in the heat exchanger, and the water in the water replenisher is vaporized by a humidifier to dry the clothes. The structure is such that the air is sent to an air circulation path.

The operation of this embodiment will be explained below. That is, the dry air humidified by the humidifier 17 enters the drum 9 via the blower 10 and the heater 11, and adds moisture to the half-dried cloth or a small amount of cloth, which corresponds to constant rate drying in the case of normal drying. By achieving moist heat conditions, sterilization can be performed. Furthermore, the water that has passed through the drum 9 reaches the heat exchanger 12, condenses, is stored in the water replenisher 16, and is reused by the humidifier 17, so there is no need to replenish water. Moreover, if the humidifier 17 is stopped after that, the cloth can be easily dried.
