ることにより衣類を撹拌するドラム、2は送風機、3は
送風機2からの空気を加熱するヒータであり、4は乾燥
空気の冷却除湿を行う熱交換器であり、送風機2・ヒー
タ3・熱交換器4を経て送風機2に戻る乾燥空気循環路
を構成している。5は熱交換器4の冷却空気路であり、
6は熱交換器4で冷却凝縮した水を排出するドレン口で
ある。熱交換器4により除湿された空気はヒータ3によ
り加熱されてドラム1に至り、ドラム1内部に納められ
た布に蒸発潜熱を与え、水を気化させると共に、気化し
た蒸気をドラム外に搬出することにより衣類が乾燥する

乾熱)を示す。また微生物の熱殺菌効果としては、湿熱
が乾熱に比べて大きいことが知られている。従って乾燥
期間中の慎重乾燥期に主に微生物が死滅する。ところが
脱水の程度の高い生乾きの布あるいは少量の布を乾燥さ
せた場合はドラム内温度の経過は第4図に示すようにな
り、慎重乾燥期は存在せず、殺菌効果は低いものになっ

う課題があった。本発明では、生乾きの布あるいは少量
の布の乾燥時にも高い殺菌能力を有する衣類乾燥機の提

水を加湿器をもって気化させて上記乾燥空気循環路に送
