Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently perform the deodorization and sterilization of the clothes drying machine by operating a steam supply means at the point of time when temperature measured by thermal means reaches prescribed temperature. CONSTITUTION:In a drum 1, the steam is designed to be supplied by a steam supply means 10, and the temperature of circulation wind before passing through a heat exchange means 3 of a circulation wind path 5 is designed to be measured by a thermal means 11. In this case, the information of temperature obtained from the thermal means 11 is reflected by a temperature decision means 12 to control the operation of the steam supply means 10 through a process control means 13. The clothes thrown into the drum is preheated in advance, and the steam is supplied in the state so that the drum can be constantly filled with the steam. Thus, the steam exerts on the clothes thoroughly and the particle of malodorous ingredients can be taken in by moisture.

Conventionally, in this type of clothes dryer, it has been common to use steam as a means for deodorizing odor components such as cigarette odor adhering to dry clothes, or for sterilizing germs and the like. In this case, the steam penetrates the clothes evenly and takes in odor components such as cigarette odor into the moisture, effectively removing them from the clothes. In addition, for sterilization, the high-temperature steam keeps the clothes warm and humid. This method was far more effective than simply sterilizing with hot air.

Problems to be Solved by Investigation However, when using steam to deodorize and sterilize dried clothes in a clothes dryer, it is not enough to simply supply steam to the clothes. For example, even if steam is supplied to clothes at room temperature, due to the temperature difference, the steam may turn into water before reaching the surface of the clothes and not moisten the clothes evenly, or the clothes may dry out instead of on the vane surface. There were problems such as dew condensation on the drum surface, and a large amount of steam was required to thoroughly moisten the clothes. Also, regarding sterilization, the effect cannot be obtained unless the moist heat temperature of the surface of the clothing rises above a predetermined temperature, so a large amount of steam needs to be supplied in this case as well. If we tried to raise the temperature of the clothing surface by supplying a large amount of steam, it would require a lot of energy and time, and it would also take a lot of time to finish drying the clothing, etc. There was a problem.

Function: The clothes dryer of the present invention preheats the clothes placed in the drum in advance and allows steam to act on the clothes in that state, so that the steam does not condense on the clothes surface or the drum surface due to temperature differences, and is distributed throughout the drum. This allows moisture to be applied evenly to clothing. The temperature on the surface of clothing rises to a temperature close to that of steam, resulting in high temperature and humidity, creating conditions sufficient to sterilize common germs that adhere to clothing.

First, by putting clothes into the rotating drum 1 and starting the operation, a motor (not shown) is driven to rotate the heat exchange means 3 and circulate air in the circulating air path 6 (indicated by a black arrow). is generated, heated by the heat source 4, and is blown into the drum 1 as warm air. As a result, the surface temperature of the heat sensitive means 11 and the inserted clothing gradually rises as shown in FIG. The temperature information of the heat sensitive means 11 is determined by the temperature measuring means 12, and hot air is blown onto the drum until a predetermined temperature T is reached. When it is determined by the temperature determination means 12 that the predetermined temperature T has been reached, the steam supply means 10 is activated by the process control side 1 means 13. In this case, in the configuration of this embodiment, the rotation of the heat exchange means 3 is stopped in order to fill the drum 1 with steam. As shown in FIG. 2, steam supply means 1
By activating o, the clothing surface temperature further rises to near the temperature of the steam itself. At this time, since heat is not directly transferred to the heat sensitive means 11, the temperature of the heat sensitive means 11 decreases as shown in FIG. After operating the steam supply means 1o for a predetermined period of time, the steam supply means 10 is stopped, and at the same time, the motor is driven again to blow hot air into the drum 1, thereby finishing drying the damp clothes by supplying the steam. conduct. Also, 7
-/ The temperature of the heat-sensitive means 11 reaches a predetermined temperature T by blowing hot air.
When reaching ', the output of the heat source 4 is controlled by the heat source control means 14 to reduce the temperature of the hot air in order to reduce thermal damage to the clothes. After being connected to the shaft at a low temperature for a predetermined period of time, cold air is blown and the operation is stopped. As shown in FIG. 2, the temperature of the surface of the clothing is high in section A from when the steam supply means 10 is turned on until it is turned off, which means that the drum 1 is stably filled with steam. As a result, the steam acts evenly on the clothes in the drum 1, making it possible to uniformly supply moisture to the clothes and incorporate odor component particles into the moisture. If hot air is blown in this state, as moisture evaporates from the clothing, odor components will also be removed from the clothing, resulting in effective deodorization. Furthermore, in section A,
Because of the high temperature and high humidity, a sterilizing effect can be obtained. As shown in Figure 3, the higher the temperature, the greater the sterilizing effect. Even at the same temperature, a moist heat condition containing a lot of moisture is better than a heat-like condition containing little moisture. High sterilizing effect can be obtained.

For general sterilization, a moist heat temperature of about 6 o'C or higher is required. Therefore, as shown in Figure 2, T"7
% The predetermined temperature T of the heat sensitive means 11 is set to 50°C or higher
By setting , it is possible to obtain moist heat conditions sufficient to sterilize general germs, and the clothes can be finished in a hygienic manner.

Effects of Investigation As is clear from the explanation of the caustic example above, the present invention preheats the clothes placed in the drum and supplies steam in that state, so that the drum is stably filled with steam. This allows the steam to act evenly on the clothes, supplying moisture evenly to the clothes,
It becomes possible to incorporate particles of odor components into moisture. Thereafter, by blowing hot air, water evaporates and odor components can be removed from the clothes, making it possible to effectively deodorize them. In addition, by preheating the clothes and supplying steam, the surface of the clothes can be brought to a high temperature and high humidity state, making it possible to sterilize common germs that adhere to clothes, resulting in a sanitary finish to the clothes. .
