Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an impact dot head which is capable of high quality printing and easy to assemble with a side pressure applied to wire uniformly by allowing the position of a hole for a wire guide nearest to a lever to meet the lever, and providing levers circumferentially around a heat shaft center. CONSTITUTION:Levers 3 are arranged radially from a head shaft center at an equal interval, and are arranged on the circumference centering around the head shaft center with the position of a guide hole 5a for a wire guide 5 which is nearest to the lever 3 being allowed to meet the lever 3. A side pressure which each wire 6 engaged with the tip of each lever 3 receives from the wire guides 5a,9a is almost entirely determined by the position of the guide hole 5a for the wire guide nearest to the lever 3. Consequently, the bending angle theta of each wire 3 becomes the same, that is, the side pressure and a return spring force from the guide hole 5a are set so that their combined force is constantly applied to every wire 6.
