Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は取付装置に関し、より詳細には肘、臀部あるい
は膝の補綴物を隣接する骨に取り付ける装置に関する。
ある期間の後に、人間の患者に関節補綴物が移植される
場合、関節の作用部分あるいは関節と隣接する骨との間
の固定部のいずれかにおいて問題が生じやすい。したが
って、アンカーを所定位置に保ちかつ関節の作用部分を
取り換えること、あるいは関節を所定位置に保ち、アン
カーを取り換えることが必要となる場合がある。しかし
ながら、現在まで関節の固定部分と作用部分とは別個の
要素としては設けられてはいなかった。これは関節の作
用部分にアンカーを接続するための簡単ではあるが、強
固な機構が今まで提案されてこなかったことによる。本
発明は骨の固定部分にスナップ嵌めできる作用部分を有
する人体の関節移植物を提供する。
この構成から導かれる利点としては、患者の骨の状態に
依存する手術中において患者に移植物を固定する外科医
が骨の固定部を数多（の異なる固定部から選択できると
いうことが挙げられる。
本発明はまた、患者の骨に取り付けるための移植物であ
って、骨に嵌合する第１の部材と、第１の部材に取り付
けるための第２の部材とを有し、前記第１及び第２の部
材の部分はコーン及びソケット接合を成しており、前記
移植物は更に前記コーンが前記ソケットに挿入される際
、前記第１及び第２の部材を解離自在に共に係止する手
段を備えていることを特徴とする移植物を提供する。
第１及び第２の部材は、通常例えばステライト（Ｓｔｅ
ｌｌｉｔｅｌ等の堅牢で、耐摩耗性及び耐腐食性のある
コバルト／クロム／タングステンの合金、あるいはコバ
ルト／ニッケル／モリブデンの合金、もしくは生理学的
に受け入れることのできる金属性の材料からなり、この
場合、これらの部材は関節のコーンとソケットとの間に
嵌合される非金属性の材料から成るフランジのついたス
リーブによって分離されることが好ましい。したがって
、フランジの付いたスリーブは超高分子量を有するポリ
エチレンあるいはまたその他の生理学的に受け入れるこ
とのできる材料から作ることができる。好適な取付構造
においては、コーンの端部とソケット底部との間で解離
自在に係止する手段が働く。したがって、コーンの端部
はそこから軸方向に延在する拡径する（径が外方に向か
って太き（なる）雄型接続スタッドを有しており、この
スタッドはソケットの底部の非金属性の雌型コネクタに
スナップ嵌めされる。
以下添付図面を参照して本発明の一実施例を詳細に説明
する。
図面において、人工膝あるいは臀部（腰部）の関節のヒ
ンジ部分は隠れた面から突出する円錐形の断面を有する
棟部ｌを備えている。この棟部１は比較的小さく外側に
拡径するスタッド５まで延びている。スタッド１はステ
ム２が押し嵌めもしくはセメント固定される骨の空洞内
に固定部を形成するステム２に嵌合する。ステム２は隠
れた端部において外側に向かってテーパーを形成する小
さな凹部７を有する円錐形状を備えたソケット６まで延
びている。プラスチック材料から成る係止フェルール４
は凹部７のテーパ一部に適合するテーパ一部の付いた側
面８を有しており、このためフェルール４は凹部７にス
ナップ嵌めされる。
円錐形の断面を有するフランジの付いたテーパー状のス
リーブ３は、棟部１とソケット６との間に嵌合される。
棟部１がソケット６内に装入されると棟部１の端部のス
タッド５がフェルール４内にスナップ嵌めされる。関節
あるいはステム２のいずれかの作用部分を補綴物の寿命
がある間に取り除（必要が生じた場合は、棟部１はステ
ム２から引き抜（ことができる。
棟部１及びステム２は軸方向に離れようとする動きに対
しては互いにご（軽（保持されているが、これは例えば
脚の関節において実用上問題とならない。なぜならば、
骨は圧縮及びねじれ荷重を受けるだけであり、特に問題
となるような引っ張り荷重を受けることがないからであ
る。

Claims (10)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １．患者の骨に取り付けるための移植物で あって、 骨に嵌合する第１の部材と、第１の部材に 取り付けるための第２の部材とを有し、前記第１及び第
    ２の部材の部分はコーン及びソ ケット接合を成しており、前記移植物は更に前記コーン
    が前記ソケットに挿入される際、前記第１及び第２の部
    材を解離自在に共に係止する手段を備えていることを特
    徴とする 移植物。
  2. ２．接合部の前記コーンとソケット部分の間に非金属材
    料から成るフランジの付いたスリーブが嵌合されること
    を特徴とする請求項１に記載の移植物。
  3. ３．前記フランジのついたスリーブは生理学的に受け入
    れることのできるプラスチック材料から成ることを特徴
    と特許請求の範囲２に記載の移植物。
  4. ４．前記解離自在に係止する手段は、前記コーンの端部
    と前記ソケットの底部の間で作用することを特徴とする
    請求項１乃至３のいずれか１項に記載の移植物。
  5. ５．前記コーンの端部は前記ソケットの底部の非金属性
    雌型コネクタにスナップ嵌めされる拡径する雄型コネク
    タを有していることを特徴とする請求項４に記載の移植
    物。
  6. ６．前記移植物は補綴関節の一部であることを特徴とす
    る請求項１乃至５のいずれか１項に記載の移植物。
  7. ７．前記移植物は膝関節の一部であることを特徴とする
    請求項６に記載の移植物。
  8. ８．前記移植物は臀部関節の一部であることを特徴とす
    る請求項６に記載の移植物。
  9. ９．骨の中に固定されるアンカー内にスナップ嵌めされ
    る作用部分を有することを特徴とする人体の関節移植物
    。
  10. １０．前記作用部分は骨中のアンカー内にかえり自在に
    スナップ嵌めされることを特徴とする請求項９に記載の
    移植物。
