- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 インペラを一端部にもつポンプ軸をメカニカル
シールで軸封してポンプハウジング内に支持する
と共に、ポンプ軸の他端部にプーリを取付けて構
成した車両エンジン用冷却ポンプ装置において、 インペラ室に形成した水切壁の端部に一端部が
開放され、ポンプハウジングの壁厚に沿つて形成
され、排出端部を開放したドレン抜き孔を備え、
メカニカルシールから漏洩する冷却水をドレン抜
き孔の排出端部から排出するように構成したこと
を特徴とする車両エンジン用冷却ポンプ装置。
