Abstract

PURPOSE:To expose a monitor camera outward only at use by mounting a casing inside the armored face of a vehicle, rotationally movably fitting a movable cover on the casing through a hinge mechanism, and rotationally movably mounting the monitor camera on the movable over through a universal head. CONSTITUTION:An automobile is provided with a trunk room 7 enclosed with a rear body 4 and a trunk lid 8 on the rear part of a body. A camera receiving room 15 is formed in the trunk room 7. In this case, the camera receiving room 15 is formed out of a casing 16 having an opening on the rear face, and the opening face of the casing 16 is covered with a movable cover 17. The upper end part of the movable cover 17 is rotationally movably fitted to the upper end part of the casing 16 in the vertical direction, through a hinge mechanism member 18. Further, an universal head 19 is fixed on a face of the movable cover 17, and a monitor camera 3 of waterproof construction is mounted on the universal head 19. Hereby, the monitor camera can be exposed outward only at use.

A mounting base 11 for a surveillance camera '53 is mounted to be engaged with these hinge mechanism members 9 and 10 so as to be rotatable in left and right directions. A surveillance camera 3 is attached to the mounting base 11 so as to be rotatable in the vertical direction. Thereby, the surveillance camera 3 can change its direction in the vertical and horizontal directions, and the blind spot at the rear of the vehicle can be displayed on a display device (not shown). In addition, in order to protect the surveillance camera 3,
Toru January's camera cover 1 covers the camera storage compartment 5.
2 is attached to the rear body 4. In addition, a mirror (not shown) is installed inside the camera storage room 5, and this mirror is used to take pictures of the outside state! In this case, the mirrors can be rotated up, down, left and right, and the blind spots of the vehicle can be seen in the prefecture.

By the way, in order to widen the field of view of the surveillance camera 3, since it is necessary to take a picture of blind spots such as behind the vehicle, the surveillance camera 3 and camera cover 12 are placed outside the vehicle in FIGS. 7 and 8. What is it about the structure that makes it stand out? For this reason, there was a problem that the design shape of the vehicle was damaged. Furthermore, since the surveillance camera 3 or the camera cover 12 is always exposed, it is susceptible to dirt and damage due to the influence of the external environment such as wind, rain, dust, etc., and the captured images are difficult to obtain. There is also the problem. Furthermore, there was a risk of theft. Additionally, there was a problem in that the surveillance camera 3 was sometimes exposed to direct sunlight, making the images difficult to see.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 1, when the movable cover 17'c closes the camera storage chamber 15, the outer surface of the movable cover 17 is the exterior surface formed by the trunk lid 8 and the rear body 4. It's supposed to be. Moreover, as shown in FIG. 2, when the movable cover 17 is in a horizontal state,
The end faces of the movable cover 17 are arranged so that the end faces of the A7 bumper 20 lie on the same vertical line. Note that the horizontal direction of the lens portion 21 of the surveillance camera 3 when the movable cover 17 is opened and closed and the surveillance camera 3 is exposed to the outside is determined when the driver is in the driver's seat, for example, the hinge mechanism member 18, etc. It is now possible to control a J-digit motor (not shown), etc.

Then, as shown in FIG. 3, the surveillance camera 3 is rotated appropriately to photograph the vehicle (direction Q).
(The center of rotation of the surveillance camera 3) is located at the outer rear of the A7 body 4, so a field of view 22 of 180 degrees or more is provided in the horizontal direction behind the vehicle. Further, by rotating the movable cover 17, the vertical field of view behind the vehicle can be increased. When there is a 7Jlli shadow behind the vehicle, the upper part of the surveillance camera 3 is covered by the movable cover 17, so that the direct IJ=1 sunlight is -C, so that the projected image is not difficult to see. In addition, since the movable cover 17 does not protrude toward the rear of the vehicle from the rear bumper 20, it does not affect operations such as reversing the vehicle.

When not checking the rear of the vehicle, the movable cover 17 is closed and the surveillance camera 3 is stored in the camera storage chamber 15. When the storage chamber 15 is closed by the movable cover 17, the surfaces formed on the movable cover 17, the rear body 4, and the trunk lid 8 become flat, resulting in an extremely desirable appearance. Furthermore, in this case, since the surveillance camera 3 is not affected by the external environment, it is extremely unlikely to get dirty or damaged, and the captured images will not deteriorate. Also, there is no risk of theft. A further advantage is that it is aerodynamically efficient.
