An example of a conventional heater unit designed to reduce the thickness of the heater unit is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 59-66653. In the device shown in this patent application, the fan 1 is located inside the heater 2 and outside the reflecting plate 3, as shown in FIG.

In such a device, since the fan 1 is located outside the reflector plate 3, the heater unit must be thick, and the rotation of the fan may cause hot air to be supplied as shown by the solid line arrow. I don't know, but in places where there is no heater 2, instead of cold air being supplied, warm air and cold air are mixed and supplied, so it is not necessarily comfortable.

This proposal was devised to solve the above problems.According to this proposal, a heat shield plate is provided close to the decorative board, and a heat shield plate is provided facing the heat shield plate, and the peripheral portion and Each has multiple holes near the center,
A reflector plate having elongated holes facing and parallel to each other, a motor provided on the front side of the central part of the reflector plate, a rod-shaped heater provided along each of the elongated holes, and the motor. The main feature is that the fan rotates and is provided between a heat shield plate and a reflector plate so as to cover each of the heaters.

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, when the heater is energized and the motor is rotated, the heat generated by the heater and trapped in the chamber formed by the heat shield plate and the reflector plate is transferred to the reflector plate by the rotation of the fan. Hot air can be blown out from multiple holes near the periphery and center, providing a comfortable supply to the user.
However, since the fan covers the heater, most of the heat emitted from the heater is blocked by the fan, and together with the heat shield, it can provide a heat shielding effect for the decorative board. Since it is provided between the heater unit and the reflector, the heater unit can be made much thinner than conventional heater units.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. Reference numeral 11 denotes a reflector plate with a substantially rectangular cross-section and a dish-shaped cross section, and machine screws 14 and 1 are attached to the wooden frames 12 and 13 of the kotatsu body.
It is fixed by 5. A motor 16 is fixed to the center of the reflecting plate 11 by appropriate means.

33 is a heat shield plate located inside (above) the reflector plate 11.
The reflective plate is attached to the reflective plate in the vicinity of the decorative plate 34 by appropriate means. The peripheral edge of this heat shield plate has an inclined surface 35 facing outward (downward). A chamber 36 is formed by the reflective plate 11 and the heat shield plate 33. This chamber 36 has a disc-shaped fan 37 rotated by the motor 16. However, the fan has a plurality of blades 38 on its peripheral edge and is sized to cover each heater.

Next, the operation of the kotatsu shown in this example will be described. When the heaters 19 and 20 are turned on and heated, the heat emitted from these heaters is reflected by the reflection plate 11.
The air in the chamber 36 formed by the heat shield plate 33 and the heat shield plate 33 is heated. When the fan 37 rotates due to the rotation of the motor 16, the warm air inside the chamber 36 is pumped through the plurality of holes 27, 28, 29 at the periphery of the reflecting plate 11, the plurality of holes 30, 31, 32 near the center, and further through the long holes. It blows out from the holes 17 and 18 to supply comfortable warm air to the user.

In addition, since the lower surfaces 23 and 24 of each heater 19 and 20 are located on the front side of the reflector plate 11 with the reflector as a boundary, the heat from each heater is directly supplied to the user along with the warm air, and the entire body is heated. This provides comfortable heating.

Furthermore, since the hot air blown out from the holes 32 directly touches the thermostat 25, if this temperature becomes excessively high, the thermostat 25 immediately acts to control the temperature of each heater.

However, since the fan 37 is provided to cover each heater 19, 20, the heat emitted from the heater and directed inward (upward) is blocked not only by the heat shield plate but also by the fan.

As mentioned above, in the case of the present invention, the fan is installed between the heat shield plate and the reflector plate, so it is much thinner than the conventional one, which not only provides comfortable heating, but also increases the heat generated by the heater. It is possible to provide a highly safe electric kotatsu with little chance of being transmitted to the decorative board.
