Abstract

PURPOSE:To form an integrally hardened uniform surface layer without pin hole, blister and wrinkle by a method wherein a weather-resistant colored film is put on sheet molding compound(SMC) and then pressed under the condition that a frame body is pushed down by an upper mold at the closing of molds. CONSTITUTION:SMC molding material 3 pre-cut in the size, which is 80% of the surface shape, is charged onto an opened lower mold 4a. Next, a tetrafluoroethylene resin colored film 4, on the rear of which filler-containing unsaturated polyester resin 2 having a viscosity of about 10,000P is applied and the applied rear of which is faced downwards, is disposed in tension onto the opened lower mold so as to develop neither wrinkle nor wave. A metal frame body 5, which is fixed to the top surface of the film, is fittingly mounted to the lower mold 4a. Next, when the lower mold 4a and an upper mold 4b are clamped together, the frame body 5 is perpendicularly pushed down by the upper mold 4b and planar guide legs 51 which are intermittently hung from the inner peripheral edge of the frame body 5, are inserted in the depressed part 41a of the lower mold 4a, resulting in putting the tetrafluoroethylene resin colored film 1 on the SMC molding material 3 and elongated and finally cut at the inner peripheral edge of the frame body 5.

(Conventional technology) Conventionally, sheet molding compound (hereinafter referred to as SMC)
The method for forming a good surface layer on a molded product is to charge and mold SMC, raise the upper mold by 0.25 to 1ffII1 after the initial hardening, and apply a layer between the mold on the painting side and the molded product. In-mold coating method, in which the paint is injected and then pressurized again to harden the paint; and Gui-coat method, in which powdered unsaturated polyester resin is applied to the mold on the painting side using an electrostatic spray gun prior to pressing, and after hardening, it is pressed. is publicly known.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The method and apparatus for producing an FRP molded product of the present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks and provides a FRP molded product having a uniform surface layer. This was done to provide P-molded products, and its gist is as follows:
I. 2. A method for manufacturing an FRP molded product, characterized in that a weather-resistant colored film coated with a curable resin on the Z side is overlaid on SMC and cured integrally by applying pressure; and 2. A frame body with a weather-resistant colored film coated with a curable resin on the back is stretched with the coated side facing down, and is fitted into the lower mold of a mold that can be opened and closed, and when the mold is closed. The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing an FRP molded product, characterized in that the frame is pressed down by an upper mold. As a weather-resistant colored film, a colored film made of vinyl fluoride resin or tetrafluoroethylene resin, such as Tedlar (
(manufactured by DuPont), Alfrex (manufactured by Asahi Glass), etc. are suitable. Also, patterns etc. may be printed. It is preferable to stretch the weather-resistant colored film over the frame because the film can be kept wrinkle-free until the mold is closed.

It is preferable to insert a woven fabric or a non-lionous fabric made of mineral fibers or chemical fibers between the weather-resistant colored film and the SMC, since this can prevent the weather-resistant colored film from breaking even when the production speed is increased. The above-mentioned woven fabric or non-woven fabric is made of glass fiber, polyester fiber, aramid fiber, etc., but glass fiber filaments are woven or joined at intervals of 1 to 5 times, and the surface shape is 9.
Pre-cut pieces with a size of 0 to 100% are preferably used. SMC has a glass fiber chopped strand content of 2
0-30% of the surface shape is 80-100% of the surface shape.
It is preferable to pre-cut the material to a size of .

(Function) In the present invention, an FRP molded product is manufactured by using a mold that can be opened and closed, and a frame body on which a weather-resistant colored film whose back surface is coated with a curable resin is stretched with the coated side facing down. When the mold is fitted into the lower mold and the mold is closed, the cough frame is pressed down by the upper mold, and the weather-resistant colored film is overlaid on top of the SMC and cured as one piece by applying pressure. As a result, it is possible to obtain an FRP molded product with a uniform surface layer free of pinholes, blisters, and wrinkles. (Example) Hereinafter, an example of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
