走輪を設けた自走草刈機にクラツチと補助遊輪を
設けたもので、図に示したように、上部に把手1
を有する套管2内に、頂端の原動機3に連結した
駆動軸4を軸承し、該駆動軸4の中間部に傘歯車
伝導装置5を設けて分岐させた走行軸6の下端
に、1個の狭幅自走輪7を固定した走行車軸8を
ウオーム伝導せしめてなり、且つ走行車軸8に把
手1のレバー9によつて遠隔操作するクラツチ1
0を設け、狭幅自走輪7の反対側に補助遊輪11
を遊承した構造としたものである。12は駆動軸
4に連動せしめる回転刃である。

運動による車輪の接地抵抗が全くなく、遊車の径
を変更すれば傾斜地に於ける対応性も増大すると
共に、クラツチにより走行輪の動力が断続できる
ので、適時適所に於ける走行停止による自由な刈
取り作業を行うことができ、又、必要に応じて両
輪共遊車となるから畦畔上での同位置での自由な
角度の回転も自在で極めて小廻り回転ができるも
のである。
