を乱すことがなく、スラグの巻込みを防止し、さ
らに補助室の上部開放部を蓋により閉鎖してある
ため出湯流の酸化を防止することができるように
したものである。

性の向上をはかることができる。また補助室の底
部に開口する出湯口は弁により開閉する構成であ
るから、出湯流に乱れを起すことが少なく、その
ため溶湯の酸化を防止することができるとともに
溶湯の上面に浮遊するスラグを巻込んで流出する
ことが防止される。さらに補助室の上部は蓋によ
り閉鎖されているので、熱損失が防止できると同
時に溶湯が大気に開放されないため酸化を防ぎ、
かつ安全性を確保することができるなど、高品質
の鋼材を高能率に生産することができ、安全面で
も高い効果を有するなどの種々優れた製鋼用アー
ク炉を提供することができる。
