    ズ側に向けられて配された受光素子と、 この受光素子の周辺に、それぞれの発光面が上
    記受光素子の受光面とほぼ同一面内に位置し、か
    つ上記レンズ側に向けられて配され、上記受光素
    子と一体化された複数の発光素子と、 を備える光学式読取器。 (2) 上記複数の発光素子が直列に接続され、そ
    の直列回路の両端間に上記複数の発光素子を発光
    させるに足る駆動電圧が印加される、 請求項１に記載の光学式読取器。 (3) 上記受光素子における受光量が所定量を超
    えるか否かが検出され、その検出出力によつて制
    御されて、上記受光量が上記所定量以下のときに
    は、上記複数の発光素子のうちの一つのみが点灯
    され、また上記複数の発光素子のうちの一部の複
    数のものが並列に点灯され、上記受光量が上記所
    定量を超えるときには、上記複数の発光素子のす
    べてが並列に点灯される、 請求項１に記載の光学式読取器。
