Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the pattern presentation of dense granitic external appearance possible and obtain the hard feel of stone by smoothly finishing resin surface layer by a method wherein wooden chips are colored and formed together with adhesive under pressure so as to be turned into wooden veneer and finally resin surface layer is laminatingly formed on the surface of the wooden veneer. CONSTITUTION:Wooden chips 1, 1..., which are formed by slicing wood 6, such as shavings of a planer, are colored and coated with adhesive and press-molded with a press platen 8 so as to form a flitch 9. When the flitch 9 is formed in a block, the flitch is sliced with a slicing blade 11 in order to be able to obtain a wooden veneer 2. After resin stock 13 is poured to the bottom of a mold 12 so as to set the wooden veneer 2 on the resin stock in order to cure and solidify the resin stock 13, resulting in laminating resin surface layer 3 onto the surface of the wooden veneer 2. In the obtained stone-toned building material A, the aggregate pattern of the colored wooden chips 1, 1... consisting of the wooden veneer 2 is represented as grinite pattern, resulting in producing dense granitic external appearance.

Artificial stones made mainly of resin, such as artificial marble, have traditionally been used as stone-like building materials used to finish the surfaces of kahuntar and other utensils to the stone side. This artificial stone is made as a resin molded product, and when the resin is cast, pigment is generally poured into it to create a flowing pattern that resembles astronomical stone. Artificial stones have also been created by scattering colored plastic, wood, stone, etc. on the surface of resin and then curing the resin.

However, in the former case, which expresses an astronomical stone-like pattern using a flowing pattern of pigment, the pattern is relatively large and is limited to a band-like pattern, resulting in a dense appearance similar to granite. It cannot be formed. In addition, the latter method in which plastic or the like is sprinkled on the surface of the resin does not allow for a smooth surface finish, making it impossible to obtain the hard feel of stone. The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and is directed to the production of a stone-like building material that can be formed into a compact appearance similar to granite, and which can also be formed with a smooth surface to provide a hard texture. The purpose is to provide a method.

The present invention will be explained in detail below. As the wood veneer 2, for example, the one provided in Japanese Patent Application No. 62-271076 provided by the present applicant can be used. That is, as shown in Figure t51, a small piece of wood 1 obtained by slicing a piece of wood 6 (for example, a planar shaver product)
Color first. The thickness of the small piece of wood 1 is 0.05 to 0.8
0 mm (preferably 0.10 to 0.50 mm) and an area of 6 to 400 me2 (preferably 25 to 250 mm)
), and are formed as thin pieces with an aspect ratio (vertical width/m width) of 0.4 to 7.0 (preferably 0.8 to 3.0), and these small pieces of wood 1 are I don't mind being curled up. As long as the above shape accounts for 60% or more, dimensions other than the above may be included. Further, the coloring method can be arbitrary, such as dyeing, and the color can be set arbitrarily, but in order to express a granite-like pattern, it is better to color it in a dark color such as a male color. Next, a small piece of wood 1.1 colored in this way
Apply adhesive to... As the adhesive, flexible materials with a high elongation rate such as urethane adhesive, urethane emulsion adhesive, soft polyester resin, vinyl acetate adhesive, etc. can be used, and the elongation rate is 30%.
Application of the adhesive to the wood piece 1, which is preferably .about.500%, can be carried out by spraying or cross-contact. Next, the small pieces of wood 1, 1... are pressed and formed into 7 pieces 9
Create. Pressure forming can be performed, for example, using a press device 10, and as shown in FIG. can do. The pressure applied by this press device 10 should be sufficient to crush the small piece of wood 1 along the press surface (2K
g/ca+2~50Kg/am2 (preferably 7Kg
/cm2 to 14Kg/cII+2) is common. If this 7-rich piece 9 is formed to have a small thickness and the surface is exposed using a planer or a sunglass, it can be used as it is as the wood veneer 2 in the present invention. Furthermore, when the 7-rich block 9 is formed into a thick block shape, the wood veneer 2 can be obtained by slicing it with the slicing blade 11. Here, it is preferable to use a thin piece as described above as the small piece of wood 1. That is, the thin piece is easily deformed during compression molding, and does not cause poor adhesion due to voids or foaming of the adhesive due to insufficient pressure. In other words, if the wood pieces are obtained by crushing wood like particle board, voids may be created during compression molding, or poor adhesion or foaming may occur due to insufficient pressure, but in the case of thin pieces, the thin pieces are aligned parallel to the pressing surface. They are arranged so that voids are less likely to occur. In addition, the thin pieces are lined up parallel to the press surface during pressure forming, so that the surface of the thin pieces is the wood veneer 2.
It appears as a pattern on the surface, and the expression of the pattern becomes clear. Next, in order to laminate the resin surface/[3 on the surface of the wood veneer 2 created as described above, as shown in Figure 12, Mui fat liquid 13 is poured into the bottom of the mold 12 and the wood This can be done by setting the veneer 2 and curing or solidifying the resin liquid 13. The resin liquid 13 is colorless and transparent or colored and transparent.
Unsaturated polyester resin or the like may be used when molding is performed by a casting method in which the resin Wt liquid 13 is simply poured into the resin, and polyvinyl chloride or the like may be used when hardening or solidifying while being compressed with a press plate 14 as shown in Figure t54. Can be done. Then, by demolding, a stone v with Mt layer of resin surface layer 3 on the surface of the wooden veneer 2 as shown in FIG.
4 Building material A can be obtained. As the mold 12, it is possible to use not only a flat mold but also a mold with a curved surface, and it is possible to create a stone building material A having an arbitrary curved surface. Adhesion between the veneer 2 and the resin surface layer 3 can be improved. In the stone-side building material A obtained in this way, the aggregate pattern of the colored wood pieces 1° 1 . Formed in appearance. Furthermore, since the surface of the resin surface layer 3 is formed as a smooth surface, it is possible to express the hard texture of stone. In this way, it can be formed with a superior appearance compared to conventional artificial stone, but even compared to natural stone, it has high bendability and conformability, and is easy to work with, such as nailing, sawing, and planing. There are excellent fish that are easy to process, have a stable pattern, have a large supply capacity, and are inexpensive. As shown in FIG. 5, the resin liquid 13 is similarly poured onto the back side of the wooden veneer 2 to form a resin back N15, and as shown in FIG. It can be protected from the front and back with M15 to increase strength and water resistance. In this case as well, in addition to the casting method, the molding can also be performed by pressing with the press plate 14.
