第１図に示すパイプ製排気マニホールドをシリン
ダヘツドに取り付けた状態を示す要部断面図であ
る。第３図はパイプ製排気マニホールドを取り付
けたエンジンを示す説明図である。第４図は第３
図の−線に沿う断面図である。第５図及び第
６図は従来のパイプ製排気マニホールドを示す要
部断面図である。 〔主要な部分の符号の説明〕、２０……シリン
ダヘツド、２１……排気ポート、２２……パイプ
製排気マニホールド、２３……ボルト、２４……
フランジ、２５……取付孔、２６……テーパ面、

Claims (1)
- エンジンのシリンダヘツドの各排気ポートに相
当する位置に夫々テーパ状のパイプ取付孔を設け
、エンジンのシリンダヘツドに取り付けられるフ
ランジと、エンジンのシリンダヘツドの各排気ポ
ートと略同一の内径を有し、上記フランジの各パ
イプ取付孔内に先端部が各別に嵌入されて溶接に
よつて固着される複数のパイプとを有し、各パイ
プの先端とフランジの各パイプ取付孔とに形成さ
れた溶接部とシリンダヘツド側のフランジ端面と
を削り、フランジ端面と溶接部とを面一とすると
共に、上記フランジ端面とパイプの先端部とを溶
接部を介して連設するように構成したことを特徴
とするパイプ製排気マニホールド。
