Claims (1)
ンストリーマの、海床に関する地理学的な位置を
決定する装置であつて、 海中を動いている間に船からの音響コマンド信
号を発信するための装置と、 船及びこの船に牽引されたストリーマに対して
区別された音響進路を与えるべく海床上の既知の
位置に非共直線的関係で隔置され、それぞれが明
確に異なる周波数の音響信号を発することにより
船からの単一のコマンド信号に応答できる少なく
とも3つのトランスポンダと、 前記ストリーマにより担持され、各トランスポ
ンダより発信された前記異なる周波数の音響信号
を受信でき、それぞれが受信した信号に応答して
ストリーマに沿つて船へ別個の信号を個別に中継
できる複数個の隔置ストリーマレシーバと、 前記トランスポンダから発信された前記明確に
異なる周波数の音響信号を受信し、これらの明確
に異なる周波数を識別することができる船上レシ
ーバと、 前記トランスポンダを配置した前記各既知の位
置から前記ストリーマに担持された前記各ストリ
ーマレシーバまでの距離を計算できるデータを得
るため、前記船からのコマンド信号の発信開始時
点から前記ストリーマに沿つて隔置された前記ス
トリーマレシーバより中継される各信号の受信時
点までの時間間隔を記録し、該コマンド信号の発
信開始時点から前記船上レシーバによる前記各ト
ランスポンダからの信号の受信時点までの時間間
隔を記録する装置と、 前記各トランスポンダに関する船の速度変化率
を測定するための測定装置と を有し、さらに 前記測定装置は前記各トランスポンダによつて
発信された受信音響信号の周波数及び前記ストリ
ーマレシーバにより伝達された前記各音響信号の
既知の周波数におけるドツプラーシフトを測定す
るための装置を有することを特徴とする位置決定
装置。[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] A device for determining the geographical position of a submersible marine streamer with respect to the seabed while it is being towed underwater by a search vessel, a device for emitting acoustic command signals, each spaced in a non-collinear relationship at known locations on the seabed to provide differentiated acoustic paths for the ship and the streamer towed by the ship; at least three transponders capable of responding to a single command signal from a ship by emitting acoustic signals of distinctly different frequencies, carried by said streamer and capable of receiving acoustic signals of said different frequencies emitted by said transponders; a plurality of spaced apart streamer receivers each capable of individually relaying distinct signals along the streamer to the ship in response to received signals; and receiving the acoustic signals of distinctly different frequencies emitted from the transponders; a shipboard receiver capable of distinguishing between these distinctly different frequencies; and a shipboard receiver capable of identifying these distinctly different frequencies; record the time interval from the start of transmission of command signals from the start of transmission of command signals to the reception of each signal relayed by the streamer receivers spaced apart along the streamer; a device for recording the time interval up to the time of reception of a signal from each of the transponders; and a measuring device for measuring the rate of change of speed of the ship with respect to each of the transponders; 1. A positioning device, characterized in that it comprises a device for measuring the Doppler shift at the frequency of a received acoustic signal emitted by the streamer and the known frequency of each of the acoustic signals transmitted by the streamer receiver.
