Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent seeds and covering soil in seedling raising boxes from moving at a given position in a vertical conveyor by equipping transporting mechanism to send a seedling raising box from each branched transportation path to the vertical conveyor. CONSTITUTION:When one seedling raising box 1a among seedling raising boxes 1 sent from a conveyor 5 is sent to a first branched conveyor 12 in a raised state of an auxiliary conveyor 14, the auxiliary conveyor 14 is dropped and the next seedling raising box 1b is fed through the auxiliary conveyor 14 to a second branched conveyor 13. The transportation speed of the auxiliary conveyor 14 and the second branched conveyor 13 is set higher than that of the first branched conveyor 12. At a position just before a vertical conveyor 10, the seedling raising box 1a at the side of the conveyor 12 and the seedling raising box 1b at the side of the conveyor 13 are vertically arranged. The conveyor 13 is equipped with transporting mechanism 15 and the speed of the transporting mechanism is equal to the transportation speed of the conveyor 12. Consequently, the seedling raising boxes 1a and 1b vertically arranged are sent together to the vertical conveyor 10 by the transporting mechanism 15 and the conveyor 12.

An example of an automatic seeding plant as mentioned above is the Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 6
As disclosed in Publication No. 3-71025, the seedling raising boxes that have been sown with seeds and covered with soil are sent to a predetermined position in an elevator-type vertical conveyor by a conveyor, and the seedling raising boxes that have been sent are There is a structure in which a vertical conveyance device sequentially lifts the seedling boxes upward, and the seedling growing boxes are transferred from the upper end of the vertical conveyance device to another sprouting platform and stacked.

When trying to improve the processing capacity of an automatic seeding plant as described above, if you increase the efficiency of sowing seedlings into seedling boxes and covering them with soil and increase the feed speed of the conveyor, it will be necessary to move the seedling boxes to the upper and lower conveyors. It is necessary to quickly feed it to the predetermined position in the interior.

Therefore, regardless of whether the seedling box is sent to a predetermined position by the feeding action of the general conveyor or by another mechanism such as a pusher, the seedling box that has been fed into the vertical conveyance device at high speed is moved up and down by a stopper or the like. This results in a situation where the transport device suddenly stops at a predetermined position within the transport device. In this situation, the seeds and soil that are uniformly sown in the seedling box will move and shift to one side during the sudden stop, making it impossible to produce good mat-like seedlings.

Here, the present invention has been made with attention to the above-mentioned problem, and when the feed speed of the conveyor is increased, the seeds and covering soil in the seedling box move at a predetermined position in the vertical conveyor. The purpose is to prevent this from happening.

The feature of the present invention is that in the above-mentioned automatic seeding plant, (1) a plurality of upper and lower branching conveyance paths are provided on the terminal side of one general conveyor, and the incoming seedling growing boxes are placed at the branching section of the conveyor; Distribute lines to branch conveyance paths (a sorting device is provided, and the feed speed of some sets of the branch conveyance paths is set higher than the feed speed of other branch conveyance paths, and from each branch conveyance path The system is equipped with a feeding mechanism that feeds seedling boxes into the upper and lower transport devices, and in addition to the configuration described in the previous section, the seedling boxes distributed to the branch transport paths are placed at the same position at the end of each branch transport path. The feeding speed of each branching conveyance path is set so that the seedlings grow at the end of the branching conveyance path, and the feeding mechanism simultaneously feeds the seedling boxes into the upper and lower conveying devices, or, ■ In addition to the configuration of the previous item ■ or ■, the vertical conveyance device is configured so that the seedling raising boxes fed by the feeding mechanism from the end of each branch conveyance path are stacked directly in the vertical conveyance device and sent upward. The functions and effects are as follows.

The vertical spacing between the support pieces (10a) is set to twice that of the vertical conveyance device (10) in FIG. Then, the seedling growing box (1b) on the second branch conveyor (13) side is not immediately sent into the vertical conveyor (10), but is stopped at the position shown in Fig. 5, and the seedling growing box (1b) on the side of the first branch conveyor (12) is stopped. When the box (1a) is fed into the vertical transport device (10) and lifted to the position of the second branch conveyor (13) by the vertical transport device [(10), the box (1a) is moved to the second branch conveyor (13) by the feeding mechanism (15). The seedling growing box (1b) on the conveyor (13) side may be sent into the vertical conveyance device (10) and stacked on top of the previous seedling growing box (1a).
