Lubricating oil components containing extreme pressure additives, rust preventives, antioxidants, etc. are made into an emulsion (commonly known as coolant) using an emulsifier.
It is usually used at a concentration of 10% to 10% by weight.

In other words, if you try to improve the circulation stability of the coolant by adjusting the type and amount of the emulsifier, the adhesion to the surface of the rolled material will decrease, resulting in insufficient lubricity; on the other hand, if you try to increase the adhesion of the rolling oil, However, the circulation stability of the coolant is reduced, which impedes long-term circulation use, and there are also disadvantages such as deterioration of workability and surface quality of the rolled material.

The composition comprises (a) one or more base oils selected from the group consisting of fats and oils, fatty acid esters, and mineral oils, and (b) one or two salts of ethylene oxide adducts of amino compounds. This is a cold rolling oil composition characterized by containing the following two dispersants as essential components. In this composition, the amount of dispersant added is less than the total amount of the cold rolling oil composition. 0.5 to 1 of
0% by weight is recommended. However, in this rolling oil composition, wear particles generated during rolling process are mixed into the coolant, resulting in
Particle size distribution and emulsion stability index (Emulsion 5t
ability Index) (This is referred to as “ES, 1
.. It is abbreviated as J. ) changes, and the emulsion stability of Coolan i decreases. In particular, if the fluidity of the liquid is poor due to the structure of the coolant tank or the state of stirring in the tank, E, S
, 1. Since the rolling oil is low, the rolling oil separates and floats in the tank, reducing the concentration of the rolling oil supplied to the rolling mill by the pump. For this reason, the sticking property of the rolling oil to the surface of the rolled material is low, resulting in a disadvantage that the lubricity, surface quality of the rolled material, workability, etc. are reduced.

It is something that demonstrates the. As the oxidized wax of the present invention, natural or synthetic oxidized waxes, oxidized paraffin, petrolatum oxide, etc. can be used. Further, it is necessary that the melting point of these oxidized waxes is 60°C or lower. Generally, cold rolling oil is circulated and used as a coolant at a temperature of 60° C. or lower, so if the melting point of the oxidized wax exceeds 60° C., a part of it will precipitate and the emulsion stability will deteriorate.
