軸的に位置し内部に粘性流体を収容する環状の流
体室を形成するアウタメンバーおよびインナメン
バーと、前記流体室内に配置され外周側にて前記
アウタメンバーの内周側に一体回転可能に組付け
られた多数のアウタプレートおよび内周側にて前
記インナメンバーの外周側に一体回転可能に組付
けられて前記各アウタプレートと交互に位置する
多数のインナプレートを備え、前記両メンバーの
相対回転時前記流体室内に生じる粘性流体の剪断
力の作用にて同両メンバーの一方から他方へ動力
を伝達する粘性流体継手において、前記各アウタ
プレート間および各インナプレート間に剛性スペ
ーサをそれぞれ介在させるとともに前記両メンバ
ーを軸方向に所定量相対移動可能に組付け、かつ
外部操作にて前記両メンバーを相対移動させる作
