荷域で高圧縮比状態にする圧縮比可変機構と、吸
気を過給する過給機構とを備えた可変圧縮比内燃
機関において、上記圧縮比可変機構が高圧縮比状
態に固着された作動異常を検出する検出手段と、
該検出手段からの信号に基づいて上記過給機構の
過給作用を停止させる過給停止手段とを備えたこ
