外部診断ユニツトとから構成され、かつ上記車載
ユニツトは、上記噴射パルス信号をモニタして該
噴射パルス信号の所定単位時間内の出力回数をカ
ウントするカウンタ手段を備え、また上記外部診
断ユニツトは、上記シリアル通信手段を介して入
力されたエンジン回転数情報に基づいて単位時間
当たりの基準パルス数を演算する手段と、上記シ
リアル通信手段を介して順次入力される上記カウ
ンタ手段のカウント数を上記基準パルス数と比較
して、噴射パルス数の異常判定を行う手段とを備
