部より横出せられた支持体6bに、投光面7aと
受光面7bが槽内液を介して所定の間隔により対
向するよう透過型光センサーの感知部7を配設す
ることにより、上記投光面7aおよび受光面7b
が上澄水放流装置3の取水口5よりも下方であつ
て、かつ、上記ステム6aの直下から離れた位置
にあり、汚泥界面l2が光センサー感知部7の配
設位置よりも下方にあることを検知して上澄水放
流装置3を駆動させ、また、汚泥界面l2が光セ
ンサー感知部7の配設位置よりも上方にあること
を検知して上澄水放流装置3の作動を停止させる
よう構成せられた上澄水放流制御装置において、
槽内水または槽外水を水源とする水流噴射の行わ
れる洗浄用ノズル8を投光面7aおよび受光面7
