クブレーキにおける摩擦パツド等の一部がそれで
ある。斯る摩擦装置の製造に際しては、接着剤を
必要量だけ正確且つ均一に塗布することが難かし
く、また、摩擦材の表面性状によつて必要量が異
なるので、確実な接着力を得るために、それ等塗
布量、必要量のばらつきを吸収し得る充分な量の

考案が解決しようとする課題

の貼り着け面から押し出されて摩擦材の側端面に
這い上る欠点があつた。すなわち、たとえば摩擦
装置がブレーキシユーアツセンブリである場合に
は、第5図に示されるようにシユーリム2と摩擦
材4との相対向する面の一方または双方に塗布さ
れた接着剤6が、貼り着けに際してシユーリム2
と摩擦材4とが相互に押圧されると、余分な接着
剤6が貼り着け面から押し出されて、シユーリム
2の端縁部と摩擦材4の側端面との間の隅に溜つ
た状態で硬化させられるのである。このため、摩
擦材4の側端面に這い上つた状態で硬化した接着
剤6が、摩擦材4の摩耗に伴つてブレーキドラム
の摩擦面に当たるので、その接着剤6とブレーキ
ドラムの摩擦面との摺接によつて、ブレーキドラ
ムの摩擦面との摩擦係数が変動し、制動感覚の変

め、シユーリム22と摩擦材26との間から押し
出された接着剤28は、摩擦材26の側端面に達
する前に空所30内に溜められるので、接着剤2
