Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 この考案はドラムブレーキにおける、いわゆる
ブレーキの鳴きを防止するように形成したブレー
キシユーに関する。

ブレーキ作動時に、ブレーキシユーの振動によ
り鋭い金属音を発する現象はよく知られている。
いわゆるブレーキの鳴きである。このブレーキシ
ユーの鳴きを防止するようにした考案は多々あ
る。これを大分すると、一はブレーキシユーに金
属製又は非金属性の制振材を設けてブレーキシユ
ーの振動エネルギーを吸入させ鳴きを防止するよ
うにしたもので、他のブレーキシユーのリム部を
二枚板構造となし、この二枚板の接合面の摩擦に
より振動エネルギーを吸収するように形成したも
のである。特に後者では実開昭54−57274号の考
案がある。この考案は二枚板構造に形成したリム
部の接合面を阻面に形成し、摩擦抵抗を大ならし
めて振動エネルギーの吸入を増加させ、いわゆる
ブレーキの鳴きを防止するようにしたものであ
る。しかしリム部外周面はライニングを介してド
ラム円周面と相互に押圧するように形成されてい
るため、このドラム内周面の曲率に合わせて弧状
の湾曲平面状に形成されている。そのため加工精
度のバラツキによつて接合面にすき間が生じやす
く、単に接合面を阻面に形成しただけでは充分な
振動エネルギーの吸収ができない欠点がある。ま
た二枚板の接合を強固にすると単にブレーキシユ
ーの振動系がわずかに変わるのみで鳴き防止の効
果が失われてしまう欠点が存在する。

リム部2と一体に形成されている。4は接触板
で、インナーリム部2とアウターリム部1の接合
面部に挾持され結合子5により結合されてブレー
キシユーのリム部を構成するように形成される。
接触板4は、第3図に示すように薄板鋼板に連続
した凹凸を形成した波板をインナーリム部2の平
面形状とほぼ同一に形成した接触板本体4aを、
アウターリム部1とインナーリム部2の接合面に
挾接させ、結合子5で押圧しながら締付けて形成
する。
