<Prior art> Various types of copy-protection paper have been developed to prevent leakage of confidential information due to copying. For example, this paper is used to prevent materials copied for internal corporate meetings from being illegally leaked and re-copied. In order to do this, papers that can copy originals on their own, but which darken the entire paper when copied onto other papers, making it impossible to decipher the recorded characters, have been attracting attention in recent years. Therefore, the present applicant previously proposed Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-286307 as a paper that makes such re-copying impossible, and the characters copied from the original onto the paper appear glossy and dark, making it possible to record them. He succeeded in developing a paper that made the characters easy to read, but made it impossible to reproduce the recorded characters when recopied. In other words, the paper uses the electrophotographic method to copy the recorded characters of the original onto the surface using the action of the toner inside the copying machine, and also heat-presses a black pigment that reacts with the toner to make it even more glossy. It is characterized by being attached to recorded characters.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> The above-described technique has the advantage of being widely implemented in ordinary electrophotographic copying machines, but has the problem that it cannot be implemented in copying machines that do not have toner.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The present invention was proposed in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, namely, a sepia toned hue having reflection density values of approximately 1.28 yellow, 1.16 magenta, and 0.81 cyan on the surface of the base paper. A solid printing layer is formed with ink, and yellow 0.97, magenta 0.82, and cyan are added to the solid printing layer.
The pattern printing layer is overprinted with sepia tone ink having a reflection density value of about 0.52, and yellow 1.05, magenta 0.94, cyan 0.66 are printed on the back of the substrate.
It is a paper that cannot be recopied, on which a solid printing layer is formed using a sepia-toned ink having a reflection density value of about 100 ml, and glossy recorded characters are provided on the surface of the base paper using a thermal transfer method.

<Function> When a pattern printing layer having the same sepia tone hue is overprinted on a solid printing layer having a sepia tone hue having the above-mentioned reflection density value, the sepia tone hue of the pattern printing layer portion becomes a deep dark color. Therefore, even when writing with a writing instrument such as a fountain pen or ballpoint pen, the color of the ink cannot be clearly recognized and cannot be read.
Furthermore, even if the original is set in a normal copying machine and copied onto the paper of the present invention, the characters on the copy due to toner transfer will not be glossy and will be unclear, but
Since this paper is provided with recorded characters using a thermal transfer method, the characters are glossy and appear in a dark color, making them clearly visible and easy to read. However, when this paper is further run in a copying machine, the entire base paper becomes dark and the recorded characters are not reproduced and become illegible due to the presence of the pattern printing layer.

<Example> An opaque base paper 1 has a solid printing layer 2 formed on its surface with sepia tone ink having reflection density values of yellow 1.28, magenta 1.16, and cyan 0.81. On the top surface of this solid printing layer 2, yellow 0.97.
The pattern printing layer 3 is overprinted with sepia tone ink having reflection density values of magenta 0.82 and cyan 0.52. The pattern of the printed layer 3 is preferably a fine continuous pattern that dazzles the naked eye by combining vertical and horizontal lines, circular lines, and the like. Also, on the back side of base paper 1, yellow 1.05, magenta 0.94, cyan 0.66
The solid printing layer 4 is formed of a sepia tone ink having a reflection density value of .

Furthermore, recorded characters 5 are provided on the surface of the above-mentioned substrate 1 using a thermal transfer copying machine. These recorded characters are obtained by copying the characters of an original (not shown) set on a copying machine equipped with a thermal transfer type carbon onto the surface of the substrate 1 which is used as copy paper, and the characters are printed within the pattern of the pattern printing layer 3. It is displayed in exactly the same format as the original, and because of the carbon transfer, the text appears glossy and dark, making it easy to read clearly.

As mentioned above, the recorded characters 5 on this paper were copied using a thermal transfer copying machine, and when this paper was further run as a manuscript in a copying machine, the solid printing layer and pattern printing layer became dark on ordinary copy paper. Since it is copied, it becomes difficult to decipher the recorded characters. Furthermore, when the copying machine density is adjusted to a lighter color direction, the solid print layer and pattern print layer are copied in gradually lighter colors, but the characters cannot be read because the pattern of the pattern print layer interferes with the recorded characters.

Note that the means for forming recorded characters on the surface of the base paper may be a word processor, a facsimile, etc. as long as it uses a thermal transfer method, and these are of course within the free implementation scope of the present invention.

(1) Since the solid printing layer and the pattern printing layer have specific reflection density values, the surface of the paper becomes dark when copying, making it difficult to read the recorded characters. Copying is impossible, thereby preventing misuse such as forgery, alteration, etc.

(2) パターン印刷層のパターンが記録文字に干渉

(2) Since the pattern of the pattern printing layer interferes with the recorded characters, the characters will not be deciphered even if the shading of the copying machine is adjusted, making it compatible with all types of copying machines.

(4) Since the recorded characters are formed using thermal transfer carbon, they are glossy and can be clearly read even if there is a solid print layer and a pattern print layer.
