い前後に移動自在となるように多数本のローラー
を列設配置した架台の当該ローラー上に乗載させ

すごとに、この作業台6上において、第2図Bに
示す長さlで電線の被覆層を皮剥ぎする。この皮
剥ぎごとに、その皮剥ぎにより露出させた露出導
体部分Aをケーブルの引出しによつて圧縮機3の
位置にまで移動させ、第2図Cに示すように分岐
用金具Bの圧縮部b1を露出導体Aに圧縮接続す
る。この圧縮部b1と電線被覆層剥取端i1との間の
間隔gは通常10mmであり、圧縮機3と圧縮部b1と
の位置合せは、圧縮機3のダイスが電線被覆層剥
取端にかゝることのないように、この10mmよりも
小なるずれの精度で行う必要がある。かゝる位置
合せは、圧縮機3の移動調節により行うことがで
き、送出ドラムからのケーブルの引出量の調節に

ことができ、よしんば大サイズ導体からなる電線
に分岐用金具を圧縮接続する場合のように圧縮機
が大型となり重量が増しても過大な労力を要する
