おける燃焼廃ガスを炉外へ排出する機構を改良し

すように溶融ガラス前炉11の天井部12の所要
個所に穿設された孔径約10cmの円形または方形状
の排気孔13を使用して行われている。排気孔1
3の上端開口部14にはスライド煉瓦15が摺動
自在に設けられ、このスライド煉瓦15を左右方
向に移動させて開口部14の大きさを変えること
により、廃ガスの排出量および炉内気圧の調節を
行うようになつている。しかるに、この排気孔は
スライド煉瓦を摺動することにより、前記開口部
付近の付着物たとえば温度差によつて生じるダス
トなどが排気孔を通つて炉内に落下し、溶融ガラ
スに混入し汚染する欠点がある。
