Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a hair tonic containing a specific compound as an active component, free from said effect and exhibiting excellent trichogenic effect to alopecia. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair tonic contains the compound of formula [R<1> is (hydroxyl-substituted) 20C acyclic branched higher aliphatic hydrocarbon group] or its salt as an active component. The amount of the compound of formula in the hair tonic is usually 0.1-10wt.%, preferably 0.1-5wt.%.
