Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a dewatering property by previously providing a dewatering and squeezing zone for removing and absorbing liquid drops between a cleaning zone and drying zone. CONSTITUTION:The liquid drops sticking to a material 4 to be cleaned are squeeze by squeeze rolls 8 in a rear part and are sent in a finally crushed state to the dewatering and squeezing zone 2. The liquid drops are primary removed so as to be swept away diagonally backward by the wind force of the air which is blown from slit-shaped air nozzles 9 and has directively. The liquid drops which are not removed are absorbed by squeezing rolls 10. After the liquid drops are removed to some extent, the material is fed into a drying zone 3 and the liquid drops are removed to both sides of the material 4 by the air nozzle 9 and are released from a discharge port 11. The efficiency of removing the liquid drops is thereby improved and the equipment cost is reduced.

(Prior art) As a method of cleaning a resin plate or a metal plate with hot water, as shown in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 62-63375, after increasing the temperature of the object to be cleaned with hot water, air is supplied from a slit-shaped air nozzle. In addition to the method of blowing hot air and exhausting the air at a volume greater than that amount, there is a method of circulating hot air throughout the drying zone.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The hot air method and the method disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 62-63375 are difficult to clean when the object to be cleaned is limited to a metal plate or when the conveyance speed is extremely low. Although this method is effective, when an object with a large specific heat such as a resin plate is conveyed at high speed (high-speed cleaning), its effect is not sufficiently exhibited and there is a problem in that water drains poorly from the rear end of the object to be cleaned.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention increases the temperature of the object to be cleaned, moves to the drying zone, and creates a slit which is positioned over the entire width of the object and whose center part protrudes rearward. Cleaning is a method in which air is sprayed at an acute angle from a shaped air nozzle to the object to be cleaned, continuously removing droplets on the surface, and forcibly exhausting air from the drying zone with a volume greater than the volume of air blown from the air nozzle. By installing a draining zone between the drying zone and the drying zone to perform the primary removal and absorption of droplets, the load on the drying zone is reduced and more complete drying is achieved.

This will be explained below with reference to the drawings. As shown in Fig. 1, the washing zone 1 consists of a washing zone 1, a draining zone 2, and a drying zone 3. A shower nozzle 5 that discharges hot water for washing, a drive roll 6 for transporting the object to be washed, and a nipple roll 7 on top of the drive roll that rotates at the same speed as the drive roll and prevents the object from fluttering at a constant pitch. A bar-shaped squeezing roll 8 is installed at the end of the same zone.

At least one pair of air nozzles 9 in the form of a chevron (α,) with the center protruding toward the rear and an acute angle (α2) toward the rear of the object to be cleaned are arranged in the draining zone. However, behind it, one or more pairs of squeezing rolls 10 capable of absorbing droplets are similarly arranged.

On the other hand, the droplets 12 adhering to the object to be cleaned 4 are squeezed by a squeezing roll 8 at the rear of the zone, and sent to the draining and squeezing zone 2 in a crushed and finely divided state.

The fine droplets 12 are transferred to the second draining zone.
As shown in the figure, the liquid particles that are not removed at that time are swept diagonally backward, that is, to both sides of the object 4 by the wind force of the directional air 13 blown out from the slit-shaped air nozzle 9. It is absorbed by the squeezing roll 10 arranged behind it.

After removing some of the droplets on the surface of the object to be cleaned in this way, the object is sent to the drying zone 3. Object to be cleaned 4 and drying zone 3
A small amount of liquid brought into the A portion of the +If12 is removed from both sides of the object to be cleaned 4 by an air nozzle 9' similar to that installed in the draining aperture zone, and a portion is blown up in the form of mist and discharged from the exhaust port 11. The exhaust capacity at this time is larger than the amount of air blown out from the nozzle.

As a result of the above actions, the efficiency of droplet removal in the drying zone is increased by sharing the function of removing droplets, which was traditionally performed only in the drying zone, with the water draining zone, and the humidity of the cabin air is always kept low. This creates favorable conditions for drying.

Also, it is better to have multiple rows of air nozzles than a single row, but if there is no space, a single row of air nozzles can be used only in the draining aperture zone, and a structure that allows the air volume to be adjusted is even better. The appropriate temperature of the hot water is 40 to 70°C, and the squeezing roll should be made of a material that has sufficient absorbency and does not adversely affect the objects to be washed, and that can be used with hot water.
