1に固定されたドラム支持板1oに固定されたシャフト
11は前記軸受9を支持している。12は前記ケーシン
グ6に収設された熱交換型送風機で、ケーシング6の仕
切部13によシ乾燥用空気aと冷却用空気すの各々を送
風するとともに、両空気間の熱交換を行なう。ケーシン
グ6の仕切部13によシ形成された乾燥用空気aの径路
内にはヒーター16を内設したヒーターカバー18が固
定されている。ドラム内方に面したケーシング6にはフ
ァンシャフト14を固着し、その周囲には流出口16を
設け、この流出口16を覆うよう忙フィルター装置31
を着脱自在に取付けられている。一方、同じくヒーター
16に対向するケーシング6のドラム4対面側には乾燥
用空気aの流入口17を設けている。前記フィルター装
置31はリントを回収するメツシュ部を有するフィルタ
ー19と、このフィルター19を保持するフィルターカ
バー2oよシ構成されている。

作用によシトラム4内の空気がフィルター19および吸
気口16を通ってケーシング6内に吸引され、ヒーター
16を通ってケーシング6の流入口17から温風として
ドラム4内に戻る。したがって、流入口17は運転中つ
ねに加熱されているため高温となる。一方、外気はケー
シング支持板21に設けた冷却風吸込口22よシケーシ
ング6内に吸入され、ケーシング支持板21と仕切板1
3にて形成された渦室を通シ冷却空気すを送風し外気流
出孔29から排出される。このようなドラム4内空気の
循環及び外気の流れによシ、熱交換型送風機12を介し
て両空気間で熱交換が行なわれ、もってドラム4内を循
環する温風が除湿される。尚、熱交換に伴い発生した除
湿水はケーシング6の底部に形成した排水口から機外へ
排出される。

装置には接するものの、高温となった流入口に接触する
ことを防止でき安全性の高い衣類乾燥機を提供すること
ができる。

フィルター装置よりも奥側に位置し、かつ前記フィルタ
ー装置の高さが流入口よりも内側に高くなるように構成
