The operation of the above configuration will be described. In the washing process, when the outer lid 25 and the inner lid 23 are opened, clothes (laundry) are put into the inner tub 4 and the operation is started, the water supply valve 27 is opened to supply water to a predetermined water level, and then the motor 11 is driven. To do. At this time, the power of the motor 11 is transmitted to the rotary blades 6 via the washing shaft 7 by the clutch 12 of the transmission mechanism section, and the rotary blades 6 rotate, so that the stirring protrusions 10 of the rotary blades 6 stir the clothes. However, it is performed by the water flow force and the mechanical force that acts due to the laundry coming into contact with each other or the inner wall of the inner tub 4 and the rotating blades 6.

In the dehydration process, after the washing is completed, the drain valve 28 is opened to drain the water in the inner tub 4, the clutch 12 of the transmission mechanism is switched to the dehydration side, and the power of the motor 11 is set to the dehydration shaft 5. The water is separated from the clothes by transmitting the particles to the inner tub 4 through the inner tank 4 and rotating them to give centrifugal force to the clothes. When the dehydration process ends, the drying process continues.

When the drying process is started, the drain valve 28 is closed and the clutch 12 is switched to the washing side. Then, the motor 11 is driven to be transmitted to the rotary blade 6, and the rotary blade 6 is normally rotated,
While inverting and hooking the clothes by the stirring protrusion 10 to stir the clothes, the circulation fan 16 and the heater 17 are energized to send warm air to the warm air supply port 22. The hot air blown from the warm air supply port 22 into the inner tub 4 evaporates the moisture from the clothes and then flows out from the inner tub 4 to the inside of the outer tub 3 and then the lower bellows-shaped hose 14
To reach the heat exchanger 13.

Warm air that removes moisture from clothes and contains moisture
When passing through the inner wall of the outer tub 3 and the inside of the heat exchanger 13, the outer tub 3 and the outer wall of the heat exchanger 13 are cooled by the inflow of external air by the cooling blower 27 installed on the side surface of the outer frame 1. As a result, dew condensation of water occurs inside, and the moist warm air is dehumidified and returns to the circulation blower 16. By circulating hot air through the hot air circulation path 20, the clothes in the inner tub 4 can be dried.
