For example, when rain is detected by the raindrop detection means 2 having a sensor in which a light emitting part and a light receiving part are joined through internal reflection of a transparent member, power is automatically supplied to the wiper motor Wm. It drives the wiper, and when rain is no longer detected by the raindrop detection means 2, the power supply to the wiper motor Wm is automatically stopped and the wiper is stopped.

However, when using a car wash, for example, there are many cases in which the machine drives itself to the car wash location and then leaves after washing, and in this case, the car wash is usually carried out with the above-mentioned ibunirashiron still in it. . If the machine is in the automatic mode at this time, the wiper will operate inside the car wash machine, causing problems such as damage to the wiper blade, and it has been a challenge to solve this problem.

First, the above-mentioned conventional problems are solved by providing an automatic wiper driving method characterized in that the automatic mode operation is prohibited.

要旨を損なうものでないことは云うまでもない。Next, the present invention will be explained in detail based on an embodiment shown in the drawings. In order to facilitate understanding, parts that are the same as those in the conventional example will be described with the same reference numerals, and descriptions of some overlapping parts will be omitted. FIG. 1 shows a block diagram of the automatic wiper driving method of the present invention, in which raindrop detection means 2 is connected to automatic mode a of switch 1 as selection means, as in the conventional example described above. However, at the same time, according to the present invention, a vehicle speed detecting means 3 is provided using, for example, a speedometer, and the output of the raindrop detecting means 2 and the output of the vehicle speed detecting means 3 are connected to the wiper motor Wm via an AND gate 4. connected to. Here, to explain the present invention in detail, the raindrop detection means 2
The vehicle speed detecting means 3 detects rain and generates an output, and the vehicle speed detecting means 3 detects the running of the vehicle and generates an output. Therefore, when there is no output in either one, the output is output via the AND gate 4. Then, the wiper motor Wm is not driven, and the wiper stops. This naturally saves the effort of switching the switch 1 to the stop position s during the car wash, since the wiper does not operate during the car wash. Note that the reference numeral 5 in FIG. 1 is a timer, and this timer 5 is activated when the output of the vehicle speed detection means 3 changes from a state to a state where there is no output, that is, when the state of the vehicle is described as a running state. It is activated when the vehicle shifts from the vehicle to a stopped state and holds the output for a predetermined period of time, and the output of the vehicle speed detection means 3 is connected to one input of the AND gate 4 via an OR gate 6. Therefore, by setting the time limit of the timer 5 to be close to the time limit of a standard stop signal, for example, when the signal stops, the output of the vehicle speed detection means 3 disappears, the wiper stops, and the wiper is stopped while waiting for the signal. This will prevent you from losing your vision. What is shown in FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the present invention.
The timer 5 is further activated when the switch 1, which is the selection means, is switched from the stop position ff1s or from the manual mode position m to the automatic mode position a. At this time, as explained above, since this timer 5 is started when the output of the vehicle speed detecting means 3 changes from presence to absence, that is, when the output falls, the reversal gate is switched to the automatic mode position a. 7, and the polarity of the input to the timer 5 is matched. By doing this, for example, when starting the operation during rain, Ibnirashiron (not shown) is turned on and an output is generated to the raindrop detection means 2 and the timer 5, thereby causing the wiper motor Wm to operate as described above. Since the vehicle is driven only for a certain period of time set in the timer 5, it is possible to eliminate the situation where the vehicle starts to start without being able to see the front view due to raindrops that have adhered to it while the vehicle is stopped before the start of driving. In each of the above embodiments, in order to clearly show the configuration, each independent means was shown as an example connected using a gate, but in actual implementation, each of these means and each gate will be connected. For example, it is possible to configure all of the above on a microcombinator, and it goes without saying that doing so does not detract from the gist of the present invention.

向上させる効果を奏するものである。As explained above, according to the present invention, the vehicle speed detection means is provided, and its operation is prohibited even in automatic mode when there is no output from the vehicle speed detection means, so that, for example, when the wiper operates during car washing, the wiper blade is This prevents inconveniences such as damage, and eliminates the complexity of handling such as switching to the stop position in such situations and then returning to the automatic mode position again after the car wash is completed. This has an excellent effect on improving the practicality of the automatic wiper, and furthermore, by using a timer to maintain the automatic mode for a certain period of time after the vehicle stops and for a certain period of time after Ibnirashiron is turned on, regardless of the output of the vehicle speed detection device. This has the effect of further improving the practicality of the automatic wiper driving method of the present invention by activating the wiper when waiting for a traffic light or at the start of travel, thereby eliminating the need to start the vehicle without being able to see the front.
