。Conventionally, methods for solubilizing eggshell membranes have been tried; for example, as seen in Japanese Patent Publication No. 54-23975, after decomposing eggshell membranes in an aqueous acid or alkali solution,
It has been proposed to neutralize and filter the resulting decomposition liquid.

Therefore, a highly concentrated acid or alkali aqueous solution is used as the decomposition solution and the soluble eggshell membranes obtained under these conditions have a strong sulfur odor and turn yellow. Because it is colored, it has little practical value.

Here, the eggshell membrane is a membrane that is attached to the inside of the eggshell of bird eggs, such as those of birds such as barley, quail, and seven-headed crow. To collect eggshell membranes from eggshells, the eggshell membranes can be collected by breaking the eggs, removing the egg fluid, crushing the obtained eggshells, and then centrifuging them in clear water, or by treating the eggshells with an acidic aqueous solution and extracting the eggshell membranes. A method such as dissolving the shell membrane may be used. Similarly, it is desirable for workability to use eggshell membranes that are not contaminated with eggshells as a raw material, but the alkaline water-containing organic solvent used to treat the eggshell membranes in the next step does not dissolve the eggshells, and the dissolved eggs Since the shell membrane and eggshell can be easily separated, there is no problem in using one containing a small amount of eggshell. Furthermore, the eggshell membrane is not necessarily a raw eggshell membrane that is collected from an eggshell, but a dried eggshell membrane obtained by drying this raw eggshell membrane can also be used. When drying raw eggshell membranes, it is desirable to heat them at 80° C. or lower to prevent degeneration of the eggshell membranes.

Here, the alkaline water-containing organic solvent is a mixture of an aqueous solution in which an alkaline agent such as caustic soda or caustic potash is dissolved, and a water-soluble organic solvent such as methanol, ethanol, a7ton, n-7'lonognol, isoprono, or nol. refers to something that has been done.

Further, the alkali concentration of the alkaline water-containing organic solvent obtained by mixing this aqueous solution and the organic solvent is 0.2 to 3. It is desirable that it be ON. This is because if the concentration is too low, it will be difficult to decompose the eggshell membrane, resulting in poor workability, while if the concentration is too high, it will be difficult to obtain a product free of off-odor and coloring. The conditions for decomposing eggshell membranes vary depending on the type of alkaline agent and organic solvent used, but when caustic soda is used as the alkaline agent and ethanol is used as the organic solvent, 1
The treatment may be carried out at 0 to 80°C, preferably at 30 to 60°C for 1 to 8 hours.
最後に、得られた分解液を中和・濾過して製品とする。Finally, the obtained decomposition liquid is neutralized and filtered to produce a product.

It also includes a step of removing impurities from the decomposed liquid by passing it through a centrifuge or the like, and then adding an acid agent to the decomposed liquid to adjust the − of the decomposed liquid to around neutrality.

It is good to make it as follows. When drying, it is preferable to use a freeze-drying method to avoid heat denaturation of the eggshell membrane.

かと推察される。This type of product is obtained because the conventional method of treating with acid/concentrated alkali and high temperature decomposes the amino acids in the eggshell membrane, resulting in a deep yellow decomposition product with a strong sulfur odor. In the method of the invention, an alkaline water-containing organic solvent is treated.
It is speculated that this is because the decomposition of the amino acids in the eggshell membrane does not progress.
