Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform simple and proper heat insulating after cooking, by providing a temperature control means which detects the temperature of a substance to be heated and controls energization of an electric heater according to a detecting temperature. CONSTITUTION:The outer periphery of an electric heater 8 is covered with castings. A temperature detecting element 12 is mounted to the upper end of an actuating lever 14 inserted in a through-hole 13 formed in the central part of a gas burner 1. When the temperature of a substance to be heated is decreased to a value lower than a given value, the electric heater 8 is energized through a relay contact 23A and a heat insulation switch 19, and a pot 5 and the like is heated to perform heat-insulation thereof. Thereafter, since the electric heater 8 is intermittently energized according to the detecting temperature of the temperature detecting element 12, the temperature of the substance to be heated is maintained at a proper value, and useless energization to the electric heater 8 is prevented from occurring.

(b) Conventional technology Conventionally, in this type of gas stove as disclosed in Utility Model Publication No. 63-6572, for example, a large amount of heat is obtained by maximizing the amount of gas combusted. can be done in a very short time. However, even if the combustion amount is reduced by restricting the amount of gas, the amount of heat generated cannot be significantly reduced, so this method is not suitable for keeping miso soup or the like warm. Also, if the amount of gas was reduced too much, the flame would go out, which was extremely dangerous.
